A Raytown man who blames former President Donald Trump and other elected officials — including Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley — for his involvement in the Capitol riot was sentenced Tuesday to nearly six years in prison for assaulting officers during the attack.

Christopher Brian Roe, 39, also must serve two years of supervised release and pay $2,000 restitution for damage to the Capitol, which prosecutors say stands at more than $2.9 million.

Roe, who carried a pitchfork on the Capitol grounds on Jan. 6, 2021, pleaded guilty Nov. 2 to three felony counts of assaulting a federal officer. His sentencing hearing was held before Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

“Roe came to Washington, D.C., equipped with weapons and the means to restrain detained persons,” the government said in its sentencing memorandum. “Once he arrived at the Capitol, he violently assaulted multiple police officers and resisted all attempts to remove him from the building. Then, after his second ejection from the Capitol, he used a bicycle rack as a battering ram in an effort to reenter the building yet again.”

His offenses, the document said, “were of the utmost seriousness.”

For each count, Roe faced a maximum sentence of eight years in prison, three years of supervised release, a $250,000 fine and restitution. The government had recommended a total of 71 months in prison — one month more than what the judge handed down — three years’ supervised release and $2,000 restitution.

Has Trump donated any money to a legal fund for any of these folks?

How about Trump Humpers, have they donated to any legal funds for these folks?

If you haven't noticed, POS45 never gives money to help his followers. They are expected to give all they have to help keep his broke ass out of jail!

Hey the dumbass brought a pitchfork and beat someone with a bike rack. Why should Trump or anyone else want to fund his defense? why should they? no one asked him to do this and he is making excuses NOW that he's facing time for being violent. If he beat somone, thats on him. Unless you have some proof Trump asked him to do that.
Heres a thought for you. Every major protest or rally, on either side of the political spectrum will always bring out some mentally unstable person, or extreme radical of some kind, because those people are always out there and looking for something to latch onto. We see this also with Antifa and BLM.
If you Remember, Left wing nut jobs also tried to breach the white house when Trump was president.
Which Democrat politician can I blame for that now?

So you are saying that everyone that was convicted and sentenced was justified.

beings I have known people from raytown my whole life I dont have much good to say about them other than they spend their lives regretting being from raytown,,

I imagine Minnie mouse could incite him to masturbate in public,,

Theres no way I can say that, but if a person was convicted of violence, that stands on its own. If someone felt they were waved through a door along with the crowd and were simply walking through taking pictures with a cell phone.. I would be more sceptical of that sort of conviction for TREASON.
Especially since there is no proven coordinated effort and there are too many question marks. First of all there is a lot of political incentive for Democrats to convict as many people as possible for treason.

Hey Mr Dog, the convicted felon said it was POS45 & Sen Hawley that told him to fight like he'll! Not the poster you are demanding to show proof it was Pos45's fault! You are blaming the wrong person!

that isn't doing a damn thing for the folks who are locked up.

Why should Trump be held responsible for the actions of others? It's not like he held a gun to their heads and made them riot.

It's called "personal responsibility", something Mr. Jailbird seems to be lacking.

Now go chill out and contemplate this picture for awhile...

I didnt blame the poster. I called the rioter a dumb ass. Secondly "fight like hell" in the political context is not telling somone to bring weapons to a rally, or beat cops. Thats bullshit. Others have used that same language. If what you say is true then Trump would have been charged for treason. He wasnt.

No one was charged ---that I have seen or read about ---with 'Treason'.
Or 'Insurrection'.
However, Seditious Conspiracy has earned some J6 Jackasses long time....LONG....time behind bars.

Further, from what I have seen of the sentencing of folks pleading guilty or convicted by jury or judge......there is a recognition of those folks who were respectful of the hallowed ground they illegally entered. Meaning, if they did not fight with police, steal anything, wreck stuff, or poop in a hallway.....they were treated more leniently than those who did.

Seems not unreasonable to me.
Your mileage may vary.
