The polls predicted tight race but republican Matt Bevin easily won the governorship in Kentucky beating democrat state A.G.Jack Conway. Only the 2nd time in over four decades that a republican won the state.

Still more bad news for dems, Ohio rejects legalized marijuana and Democrat Va. Gov McAuliffe's hopes of regaining the state senate majority went down in defeat.

Really? Been that long since a Republican was Governor in Kentucky? I didn't know that. I just assumed Kentucky was a Red State for years.

No McAuliffe fan, but they made a bad call on marijuana. No one should ever go to prison over marijuana. We need to evolve.

I'm actually very surprised its State Senate has a Democrat majority. Who the hell in Kentucky votes for Communists/Progressives? I've never met one who supports them.

Actually many pro pot people in Ohio were against legalization the way the bill was worded. It gave a monopoly on who could grow. 10 farms would monopolize the growing of Marijuana with only select investors making any money.

Republicans stole a key governor's seat in a hotly contested race in Kentucky on Tuesday, installing an outsider businessman who has drawn comparisons to Donald Trump as the state's next chief executive. Meanwhile, neighboring Ohio voted against becoming the fifth state to legalize the recreational use of marijuana. In Kentucky, millionaire GOP investor Matt Bevin led Democratic state Attorney General Jack Conway 52.5 percent to 44 percent with 99 percent of precincts reporting. The race, which was perhaps the most watched among a series of lower-profile races in Tuesday's off-year election, has been called for Bevin.
America is starting to be taken back from the Communist/DemocRAT scum!

The public could grow up to 4 plants. Nick Lachey was a big investor, guess he might have to go back to singing.

More bad news, a closely watched issue regarding gender identity protection in Houston, Texas went down (pardon the pun) by a surprising wide margin.

Wonder if he'll follow through on his campaign promise and eliminate Kinect and Medicaid expansion, if so 400,000 will lose insurance?

GOOD!.... Let ObumaCare replace it, and save a MILLION Kentucky Taxpayers hundreds of dollars STOLEN from them for OTHER PEOPLE medical coverage!

The Ohio marijuana ballot issue was kind of a loser. It's not so much as legalization lost as it is the special interests in it have.

It looks like Kentucky is fully re-aligning to the national norm of Country = Republicans and Cities = Democrats
