I had absolutely no clue anything like this was taking place... I live a sheltered life I suppose, after all I have only eaten Panera Breads product one time and it was takeout...

I really do hope that the libs go full force on the Socialist agenda...

That's too bad. I was just going to offer them $20 for the whole company.

It's what I wanted to pay.

I hope they do go full force on the Socialist agenda. It sounds good until they come under Socialist rule but by that time it's already too late. After they've been disarmed and given up their rights, they suddenly realize it's only the favored few who get to enjoy the fruits of the movement.

I would have asked this woman to Marry me if our timing would have been better...

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”

Your good people Hoss... :113:

How is a private capitalistic business model socialistic?

These 5 Panera Breads were a experiment that failed... Private Business I'll buy that, Capitalistic business that is a big NFW...

The Portland-based Panera Cares was reportedly only recouping between 60 and 70 percent of its total costs. The losses were attributed students who “mobbed” the restaurant and ate without paying, as well as homeless patrons who visited the restaurant for every meal of the week. The location eventually limited the homeless to “a few meals a week.”

Socialism is the control of the means of production by the community and I don't see the community controlling their production..User friendly yes, profitable well we know that answer...but there is no shortage of business failures in the USA..

“More proof that Utopic and Socialistic ideas just don't work...”

Preaching to the choir fallacy – no one says they do work.

And that includes libertarianism, which is also utopian.

What we do see is more proof that conservatives have no idea what ‘socialism’ actually is.

The inability of these so-called conservatives to know what the fuck socialism is also begs me to question whether or not they even know what conservatism is -- because apparently they think it means being stupid....and that's all....
