More than a quarter of veterans awaiting VA care have already died

Have you ever tried to talk to a soldier about government? They complain about not getting benefits but then the majority supports the people who are in charge of taking away their benefits.

It is shameful how America's rich and powerful treats its veterans.

Just another reason to not be a soldier.

The “Analysis of Death Sources” report, leaked to the Huffington Post and shared with Congress by VA program specialist Scott Davis, dates from April of this year. It shows, amazingly, that at least 28 percent of VA patients awaiting a benefits enrollment decision have died.

Seems as though they waited till the last minute to sign up and to have some help....I recommend if you are a vet and need help, sign up immediately...
Reagan cut us off of VA after service and the GI bill.....And I knew of people dying that went to Walter Reed when I was station there in the Army back in 1985..I was not able to get back into the VA till 2009...

And reading that report is absolutely mind boggling. Activity of surgery after death, appts, prescriptions, etc.

Seems many got better care after death, than before.

How crappy is that.
