And as for the second group, they are Government-dependent because they either work for, or live off the Government, one way or another.

The core of the Trump-Republican constituency is the people who actually support themselves in the private sector. The GEORGE Romney/Bush41 Republicans remain, and they hate everything about Trump and his supporters. If Trump is deposed (and a second impeachment will have no effect within the Republican party) there is no apparent successor who understands where Trump planted his flag.

But of course with 30 million new wetback voters in 2024 and beyond, it might not make any difference anyway.
