They're going to have a chance to finally build a modern updated and upgraded army now but if they do it will be smaller than the Vermont National Guard.

Much of their defense budget is funding by arms sales but as poorly as they've performed to date in Ukraine they've probably killed off a lot of future sales.

Maybe some of the countries they've provided their equipment to in the past will be nice and let them have some of it back at a "fair price"... .
