How many active troops does Ukraine have, and how many active troops is Russia preparing for the winter offensive?

From what I've read, the AFU has 700,000 battle hardened troops in the field now and Russia has about 400,000, most of them only recently sent to Ukraine. Both sides plan winter offensives, the Russians apparently in the northeast to try to regain control of the land near their border and the AFU seems set on crossing the Dnipro east of Kherson to turn west and trap the Russian troops that retreated from Kherson and chase them all the way to Crimea.
