Murkowski Leads By Over 10,000 Votes

, the one who hates Sarah Palin so much she said publicly that she'd vote for President Obama over Palin. {Yes. Mookaka actually SAID that!}
So she isn't a stupid partisan hack and would vote for the lesser of two evils.

People do that every day...as this particular race shows.

She is a faux Republican. She is, at best, a RINO. She is symptomatic of what's wrong with the Republican Party.

And President Obama is the worse of two evils. He is an unmitigated disaster. Sarah Palin, on her worst day, could not be half as much of a fuck up as President Obama IS.

you betcha!

What's wrong with the Republican party is they keep getting taken over by rightwingloons...first the bible thumpers now the tea baggers.

Look, another fraudulent reporting!

"Murkowski has a lead of about 10,400 votes."

That would be from yesterday, on the rightwing website Newsmax...hmmm...I always suspected they were a fraud.

Miller Seeks to Stop Election Certification

The reporting is the fraud, you dope.

The inclusion of the illegible votes and the votes that spell the name of Murkowski in some other fashion that boosts the total to 10K more than her opponent is what is fraudulent.

But go on pretending that the fraud is in repeating that number, carbuncle.

No she's what's wrong with the GOP to a loudmouth minority within the party. A minority that managed to cost the GOP at least 3 other Senate elections.

Murkowski is positioned on the political spectrum right about where Scott Brown is. You remember him...

...the Tea Party's first Senatorial idol, lol.

Nope. What's wrong with the GOP is that they act more like the Dem Party than anybody with a functioning brain wants them to.

There are no "bible thumpers" who have ever taken over the GOP. There is no such thing as "tea baggers" (aside from some gay practice endorsed by many libs). And it is not rightwingloons who object to the insidious insertion of leftwinggoon ideology in the Republican Party.

Sen. Murkowski is to the left of Miller. He is endorsed by the Tea Party movement for good reasons. She is not, also for good reason. Your "objections," such as they are, tend to boil down to the proposition that Miller is not as weak-ass a Republican as is Lesa Murkoki.

reality called. it says hi.

all i need to know is that there are people running around calling themselves republicans who think that barry goldwater was a leftist. :cuckoo:

if the GOP wants to be the party of Pubes, good luck to them.

I wasn't. Derisive laughter from people like you has never been a concern of mine. I vazlue the opini0ons of those whom I respect. I have not an iota of respect for you. I have long been quite indifferent to the opinions of morons like you for whom I have no respect.

Fred, as things turned out, simply turned out to be a weak CANDIDATE. Too bad. He was the best person for the job.

And none of that is relevant to the fact that the alleged 10K+ vote total difference for Murkowski is inflated to the extent those vote totals include votes which (under the law as written) should not be counted at all.

I am not a big fan of Gov. Palin. It kinda pissed me off that she wasn't prepared well enough to answer some reporter's questions about things like a Supreme Court decision about which she disapproved. The ass-clown reporter for See B. S., Katie Couric, may have been treating Palin (as a candidate) differently than she treated other candidates, but THAT particular question (and ones like "what papers do you subscribe to") was never the kind of "gotch ya" question that Sarah herself turned it into.

Before I could endorse Gov. Palin, I'd want her to basically digest every past issue of U.S. News and World Report ever written. I'd want her to get herself thoroughly and intellectually immersed in matters of international importance.

She could use a voice coach, too.

But even so, even if she were as dumb as the dishonest libs like to pretend she is, she'd still be smarter than the poseur in the White House today. President Obama is an empty suit. And liberal/socialist ideologues like him are dangerous especially when their political instincts are backed by a desire for raw power and such a stupendous lack of intellectual ability.

rightist idealogues are no less dangerous, and palin is just as empty a suit as obama is, and has every bit as much intellectual ability as he does.

I don't believe there is any particular merit to that last contention position.

Sarah Palin has to be smarter than the empty-suit-in-chief. He says and does absolutely absurd things. His actions are socialist in their very nature. He seems to affirmatively dislike the very things that made America different and, frankly, great.

I don't want a President to feel shame about America. President Obama seems to feel a compulsive need to apologize for anything and everything we've ever done wrong. It's all well and good (sometimes even darn useful) to RECOGNIZE that we have done wrong. It's also ok to attempt to rectify such things, where possible. But it's another thing entirely to forever look at JUST those negative things and never embrace the positive virtues of this Republic.

While I do agree with you that going out the very fringe extremes of either ideology holds dangers, I see no particular merit to the claim that Gov. Palin is an ideologue on the right to the same degree that President Obama is an ideologue on the left. I see no evidence for that claim of yours at all.

It is not the job of a news reporter to make judgments about the validity of ballots cast when the counters of the ballots give him the information that CURRENTLY Murkowski is leading by 10,400 votes. It is his job to report that number. If they also tell him that 8,153 ballots have been challenged, it is his job to also report that number.

That is what is being reported. There is no fraudulence involved.

Good post.

Also, yah legally the votes shouldn't count but as a matter of what's right, in a real world sense, yea they fucking should. You can't misspell her name, and come anywhere near resembling "Miller" ...unless you're a palin. lol. i keed, i keed.,

Counting votes that should not be counted (because the law is clear and not at all ambiguous) is inherently fraudulent. Denying that -- as you do -- is dishonest of you.

I don't care if Mookaka wins. But let's at least find out if she won on the level.

Fuck the law, in a right vs. wrong sense they should be counted. The law is there to protect against Fraud. You can't mistake the 2 fucking names, jeebus.

You can't misspell her name, and come anywhere near resembling "Miller" ...unless you're a palin. lol. i keed, i keed.,

The point is not that a misspelling of her name counts as a vote for Miller. It doesn't and nobody is suggesting it does or should

If Murkowski got (hypothetically) 70,001 votes, but exactly 8,000 of those votes spelled her name (write-ins, mind you) as "Lesa Murkoki", then her actual vote total SHOULD be ... 62,001 votes.

Then, IF Miller got (machine counted, recounted and certified accurate) 62,002 or more votes, then HE should be the winner. If he got (machine counted, recounted and certified accurate) 62,000 or fewer votes, then he should be the loser to Murkowski.

"Voter intent" is not part of the Election Law statute in Alaska. Thus, the Courts should not "interpret" the statute (which is not ambiguous in the slightest) in order to read into the "law" some gobbledeygook about "voter intent."

The motto of liberals everywhere is "fuck the law."

No no.

Fuck yourself.

The question is not whether Mookaka's name is somehow confused with Miller's name, you imbecile.

The question is whether we adhere to the law or not. It's not supposed to be up to your personal whim.

It's right vs. wrong, and of course a statist would take the Law over what's right or wrong. Not saying you're a statist, but that's the statist position.

I know what's right is that 8+k people wanted HER to win, over HIM, that's what I know. Their mis-spelling is of no consequence to ME in determining what the people actually WANTED, and I'll know, for me, that 10+ K people wanted her over him, whatever the "Official" tally comes to be doesn't change knowing that.
