It is my view that Islam is directly stolen from the earlier religions, as has very little original material in its content.
It also incites Muslims to fight and despise unbelievers. But the teachings of Jesus were a great boon to the world in the time of the barbaric Roman empire. Christianity has high moral values.

Islamic theology, Christian theology, and Jewish theology-----are all very different in very basic concepts of metaphysics. Your statement seems to refer to very
superficial and virtually coincidental apparent similarities. One could say that your
comment is a bit childish.. I will provide an example. The main theme of the ENTIRE book of Genesis of the "bible" is a discussion of the concept of "FREE WILL" An interesting factoid is that a similar statement can be made about the
classic greek writing THE ODYSSEY. A very strikingly consistent principle of
islam is PRE DESTINATION------(the will of allah) ----------to eat or not to eat bacon is not a huge cosmic issue

I was a Muslim some years ago, and happily, I have left that religion!

My primary issue with the religion is what it teaches about the institution of marriage. I wouldn't call their teachings about marriage "stupid" (as the OP says;) I would just say that they are not compatible with me. I want to get into some Judaic religion. But Islam is NOT for me.

And to the OP can I say that I'm an Agnostic but calling people's religion "stupid" like you did is still kind of uncool. But I do love freedom of speech, so kick it how you kick it...:-D.
