Christie signed it into law of friday. I'm personally in favor of this. Not everybody who gambles is a degenerate gambler. And if you are a degenerate gambler you're going to gamble regardless of what the says you can or can't do. Ultimately people should have the choice. It was Ronald Regan that said government's function should be to protect us from each and not us from ourselves.

they are losing Jersey City casino's, they need something to prop up tax revenues.. It's no longer a sin once the govt. sanctifies it...

I agree. The question is do you expect other states to follow suit?
 
yes and with online betting, They should have never outlawed it, just put a tax on the winnings....but some states are very anti gambling..
