The police asked Mr. Blake to drop the knife a few times, the video shows he had something that looks like a knife in his hand. If it wasn’t a knife, what was it? Blake was violating a restraining order and him getting into a car, could have turned the car into a weapon. I’m not sure why he didn’t just do as he was asked.

Was seven shots excessive force, probably, should Mr. Blake have just dropped the knife and surrendered, probably.

If a police officer asks me to do something, I just do it. If I believe I was wronged, then I’d get an attorney and pursue, much safer and much more intelligent way to handle a situation.
