Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill that struck down the mandatory sentencing for criminals who use guns in crimes....so no.....democrats do not care about guns used by criminals. They only care about law abiding gun owners and have a fetish about punishing them for owning guns....
He got rid of the only thing that actually works to lower the gun crime rate......that is why we don't trust democrats...they will make felons out of law abiding gun owners, then let actual violent criminals out of jail to commit more murder and mayhem...

This bill would delete the prohibition on striking an allegation or finding and, instead, would allow a court, in the interest of justice and at the time of sentencing or resentencing, to strike or dismiss an enhancement otherwise required to be imposed by the above provisions of law.
