If the Ulchi-Freedom Guardian military exercises wouldn’t be cancelled, North Korea threatens to perform military action against the US using the latest offensive means that are unknown to the world. It’s not the first threat and probably not the last, and it’s also not the first threat from DPRK that will make the US govt laugh. But there’ll be no fun if the real war would be started.

It would be over pretty quick. North and South Korea are pretty close. Imagine detonating a nuclear bomb in a barrel.

The one thing you don't like about this is the recent placement of mines on the SK side of the DMZ. Plus SK re-starting their propaganda broadcasts.

I don't see an attack on the US happening, but a shelling spasm between the two sides is always a possibility.

Unknown technology. Right, like our intelligence agencies don't watch every move those guys make while laughing and popcorn. One of several threats ago, they said they would bomb the US directly and people freaked until it was pointed out that their missles couldn't even make it to Japan.
Most isolated country in the world, most of their citizens farm in the mud all their lives, Kim jong un fires off statements like this, then the ruling party over there pats him on the back and they all have cigars and drinks.

Sure, they certainly don't like their citizens hearing truth, if they start a shelling campaign, they certainly lose, south Korea is decades ahead of the north and have our support, they're just mad people there are waking up. I like to think by the time he gives the order to fire a few of his own men put a bullet in him, that's how this north Korea situation ends.
