NY and LA are going to bleed our country for all it’s worth

All bills should be addressed to CHINA
They'll just call all of the US debt to them. Sure you want to try that course of action?

Go for it!!!

I'm debt free and would love to see the price of farm land drop dramatically as the "supposed" rich ones who are in debt over their head go belly up.

How do you feel about twenty to thirty dollars a bushel to get us down trodden country folk ta' cultivate that thar land and feed you city folk because we won't want to take those there big city loans so we can make a profit and are willing to just go huntin' on that non-cultivated worthless land?

*****CHUCKLE*****

Theres a price to pay for any state that is stupid enough to open when there is no cure and not enough testing. Thats just one of many prices.
Tests are being made by the millions. What we need is an antibody test, but that's going to take time and a cure? How many of these viruses have a "cure?" Treatments are being studied as fast as they're able. A vaccine maybe will be available by Christmas. You want to wait how long, A?
Lots of virus have a cure. One thing we better hope is that this doesnt mutate and render any cure obsolete. I'm prepared to wait until its resolved. My life is way more valuable than a job.

You do realize last years flu shot was only about 20% effective.

You mean just like any flu season we've had in the past?
its 5x worse than flu

Bri is one person I would enjoy knowing caught the virus. I would love to see if that changed his opinion. :)
You hope I get sick and die?

That is so beautifully liberal!
Relax...it's just a hoax.

Many epidemiologists are saying not to count on ever having a vaccine.

How is that AIDS vaccine coming? :dunno:

This disease has the lethality of a bad flu. . . I don't understand why NY and LA don't open up on Monday, I honestly don't.

Sure. There is a price to pay for not opening the economy of that state too.

The Governors can keep the illegal house arrests going, but they'll have to do so at the expense of getting no more federal aid.
I dont know about other states but we aren't on house arrest in CA.
So, you won't be arrested or fined if you venture out without good cause? Assuming that the State knows what constitutes 'good cause' in your case.
I havent heard of anyone being arrested or fined. I go out everyday but I have a mask and gloves on if I am going to be around people.
Can you be specific? The first arrest appears to be because some unwelcome guests refused to leave. Can you show me a link where someone is arrested simply for leaving their home?

NY is going to drag their feet about getting any of it's people back to work
meanwhile asking the federal government to fund their entire tax revenue shortfall. Do not be shocked if LA Mayor Garcetti does it too. So, 48 states take the risk and carry the load to open back up - and then get asked to fund the two most bloated state governments in the country.

Democrats are gonna Democrat.

"The surprise success now confirms that a cure for H.I.V. infection is possible, if difficult, researchers said. "

Why dont you understand? No one wants to catch the cold let alone something that can potentially kill you and your family members.

Are they being arrested or fined for leaving their homes or for congregating in a large group against direct orders?

Yep, you're better off staying in your mothers basement.

You dont have to stay in your mothers basement. Just stay away from others or wear PPE.

So should we have the government shut down all the fast food restaurants?

Should we have the government replace all internal combustion cars with self-driving cars that won't ever get into accidents?

Should we have a "war on death" now?

"So, that’s the good news for you authoritarians! For the rest of us … yeah, not so good.

Oh, I almost forgot the bad news. The bad news is … well, the bad news is Death. The bad news is, you are going to die. I’m going to die. We are all going to die. All of us. We are going to die. We are going to die of … well, something. Cancer. A heart attack. A stroke. The flu. Diabetes. Alzheimer’s disease. Possibly a coronavirus. Maybe even this coronavirus.

In fact, a lot of us are dying right now, according to the Internet, around a hundred per minute … which, it goes without saying, is unacceptable, and a tragedy, and something we need to take drastic action to prevent at all costs. We can’t let these Russian dissension sowers, neo-Nazi accelerationists, and coronavirus-sympathizers confuse us. They want to convince us that Death is, yes, scary, and sad, but inevitable, and natural. How utterly heartless and insane is that?!

No, we need to close our minds to that nonsense. People are dying! This is not normal! Death is our enemy! We have to defeat it! We need to hunt down and neutralize Death! Root it out of its hidey hole and hang it like we did with Saddam!"

I wouldnt mind seeing all fast food chains shut down unless they only serve healthy food.

It would be immensely cool to have a self driving car. I could sleep on the way to work and on the way back.

No we shouldnt have a war on death. Thats dumb. People arent meant to live forever. On the other hand we shouldnt be giving businesses money to survive in a capitalistic system either. Doesnt that make it socialism in disguise?

Wait just one second......Illinois, where I live, is just as bloated as New York and California...how dare you leave us off of that list as our Governor, Pritzker, and Chicago Mayor, Lightfoot, keep the city and state locked down to beat Trump in November.....they are just as irresponsible and petty as the democrat politicians in New York and California.......

I live in LA and lot of people work from home, and many still working, freeway is somewhat busy. Dont forget lot of people from red states come here for work, healthcare and so much more same for NYC.
Your bashing of NY amd CA constantly is stupid, they are best two states in the union and without both of them the US would be worse of than many third world countries.

No.....there is migration out of California and New York, not into those states.........people who can are fleeing those states.....
