Obama: Does your wife support CodePink's stance re Brennan??

Well, you know...for every commie there is a nazi to balance things out.

No, no, no. Obama and Stevens were lovers back in Chicago. Stevens was unhappy being posted in Libya, and (borrowing a term from Qadaffi) was promising "the mother of all October Surprises", by which it was understood he was going to release a sex tape of himself and Obama packing each other's fudge in a bath house unless he was made the ambassador to Great Britain.

So Obama launched a Predator drone and shot a Hellfire missile up Stevens' urethra while watching from the White House Situation Room.

Then he smoked some cigarettes, played a round of golf, and shot some skeet.

I know every word of this is true for the simple reason that I want to believe it.[/QUOTE]

There's something rotting behind the Benghazi door, Brennan's unequivocally evasive response tells us that. The stench will eventually get so bad there will come such a hue and cry the administration will be forced to open the door.

Wasn't Chris Stevens, BTW, who taught Obama the ropes. Frank Marshall Davis taught him all about memorizing the lines from Das Kapital, so when Frankie woke little 'Bam up at 2 or 3 AM in the morning, or whenever, and ordered the little tyke to repeat such and such line, paragraph, and chapter from Marx's book, little 'Bam did it effortlesly, lightning quick, rapid fire.
How did you think a kid with mostly 'C's' in Poly Sci at Columbia, that nobody remembers as ever being there, get to be editor of the Harvard Law Review. Marx is big at Hahhhvahhhd, very big, and nobody knew their Marx better than Barry.

Question from Senator Ron Wyden (D) to CIA Director nominee John Brennan "What are the considerations the president uses in deciding whether to kill a United States Citizen on American soil?"

Apparently the 'D's are just fine with that, as long as its a 'D' doing the killing. Republicans waterboarding foreign terrorist is a very wrong thing, though. Bad, very bad. That evil George Bush

Quick! Somebody
alert Code Pink!!!

Let us hope code pink shows up and balances things out

do you have to be a "progressive left whacko" to despise bloodletting by government?

most normal people despise bloodletting, but recognize it is needed and justified in the cold cruel world.

people like Code Pink who wear morality on their sleeves are seriously immoral and despicable.

not saying they don't make for great theater...but shouting others down to prevent them from exercising their rights is as pathetic as it gets and that is what COde Pink usually does.

disrupting others having a civil discourse...oh wait...we solved that shit here at USMB.

I don't think they are immoral , I think they feel passionately about their platform, *shrugs* as long as the dissent is non violent, and, NOT SELECTIVE, they can just bang on...I could care less. they know they will get tossed and they come anyway, I would hope that if things here ever went Soviet or Mao style, they would be there doing what they do, its the price here of a free and open society.....

I give code pink high marks for intellectual honesty, I may disagree with them, BUT, they don't check someones party affiliation before protesting them, apparently they don't care,UNLIKE the usual suspects here at USMB.

This is a crock of shit. They do check someone's party affiliation, and hate them for different reasons. They hate Democrats only because Democrats aren't communist enough for them.

I said I didn't agree with them, but, if they hate groups for different reasons thats fine, (thats their prerogative), apparently not here in this context we are discussing....

again, I could care less, Eugene Debs ran how many times for office here? he advocated civil and peaceful means of enacting a socialist platform here, he eschewed violence. Thats the ways its done.

as long as they are non violent, again I could care less.

Well meaning people who felt passionately about their platform include those involved in Eugenics. Many wore the morality of their cause on their sleeves. My 'immoral' comment goes to moral people being immoral in their morality.

And Soviet or Mao style demanded the starts align just right...never going to happen here in this day and age. Too many things are different...history, culture, education, and more.

I don't agree much with Code Pink, but I do give them credit in that they can care less if the president has the letter "D" or "R" in front of their name. Unfortunately, the media does care about this, ever since Barack Obama has been president...

that's why Code Pink stages acts in Congress and other high profile places where cameras and media are there..

We see them all the time, but we ignore them more too...not because of Obama...but because like you they have been boring people for a long time. They've become part of the decor of the place...like you

What's that old saying about the pot and the kettle, ya think it might apply here? Yep, think so.

Isn't it funny how Code Pink had free reign in the Media when Bush was President then since Obama was elected they don't seem to get the same sort of airtime they enjoyed prior to 2008. What's changed? Except for Obama adding Pakistan and Yemen to the list of countries he's willing to commit Drone strikes against children. Not much.

I don't see the analogy holding up here and as to your other post if they do it for the cameras, well, who doesn't? was effective though, we're taking about it...

was effective though, we're taking about it...

and therein is my lifetime criticism of the progressive left: words and talk do not equal action and change.

When with Occupy I criticized a few professional protesters. I asked if they were like the people who protested nuke plants in NE and shut them down. Antiwar protesters...when did they ever end a war? Racism? Hunger? Lots of issue get protests and protesters walk away feeling good about themselves while accomplishing little to nothing

Then you are deaf, dumb, and blind. The analogy is about moralists being immoral while wearing their moralism on their sleeves

Translation: Code Pink's message only matters when Republicans are in office.

Code Pink is all over the media. You need to crawl out from under your rock more often

I don't think left wing blogs count much as media, you got some examples of real media?
