The largest rise in independents has actually been from Republicans.

Hopefully ... establishment Republicans (Democrats) are on the way out and wisdom and the responsible adults will take over... otherwise, the country is screwed over for some time to come...

No, it's more often the conservative Republicans not registering as Republican anymore and changing to "independent" which is rather misleading because when you think of "independent" people usually think "moderate" but that's really not the case anymore

We should all acknowledge that this liberal madness has led to failure and division. Hopefully Democrats with finally start to think of what's good for the country instead of voting for their own selfish desires at the expense of the country and the inevitable destruction of the middle-class.
