Obama stated that he set up the economy for Trump which is a huge lie. 1.6% average GDP growth over EIGHT YEARS is not a good economy. Plus the Fed lowered rates to near zero under Obama to spur the economy and markets. They have raised interest rates FOUR TIMES since Trump has been in office. So while Obama had a positive Fed, Trump has a negative Fed. In spite of the interest rate hikes, Trump's policies have worked to help create historically low unemployment and the markets are doing great due to corporate earings.

As others have said, the American people totally rejected Fundamental Transformation and Identity Politics. Trump's unbelievable win was a referendum on OBAMA. Hillary being a horrible person and candidate didn't help though.

That had nothing to do with it. Nobody knew Trump had a magic wand.
