Iraq insurgents take Saddam's home town in lightning advance
The threat to the Baiji refinery comes after militants from the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) seized the northern city of Mosul, advancing their aim of creating a Sunni Caliphate straddling the border between Iraq and Syria.

The fall of Mosul, Iraq's second biggest city, is a blow to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's attempts to defeat the militants, who have seized territory in Iraq over the past year following the withdrawal of U.S. forces.

Iraq insurgents take Saddam's home town in lightning advance

Obama will find that:
a) unraveling of Iraq/
b) the US borders being broached,
c) beset by inquiries Benghazi, IRS, and NOW with the country moving
more and more away from Obama...

President Barack Obama’s favorability ratings hit the lowest point of his presidency in a Bloomberg National Poll, with just 44 percent of Americans saying they have positive feelings about him.

Obama Popularity Hits Low in Poll After Prisoner Exchange - Bloomberg

Obama will resign. He can't take the pressures. He will either have a mental breakdown or quit.

I put up a thread specifically about this invasion of Iraq so it doesn't conflict with yours I don't think. If it does I can ask the mods for a merge.

But a heads up. It gets worse for Obama over the new Iraq invasion. His administration let the jihadist who is leading this terror troop in 2009.

But we're not to worry about these 5 top Taliban leaders taking up arms again.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Obama can't take the pressure. He has NEVER had the problems he now has.
Iraq unraveling.
The market is collapsing.
And then he has all these congressional hearings ... seriously how does he handle it all?
He'll quit...

Michelle will keep him in, too many freebees and glamore.

I didn't think there was 44 percent idiots in this country. What the hell do you look at to say he is doing a good job? Free healthcare? Loose borders? The dollar devalued? A reduced work force participation? WTF are these people looking at? Oh right 44 percent is pretty close to 47 percent, Romney was right.

He will never quit. Are you crazy?
He thinks he is the best ever because he lives in his own fantasy world.

We told u phuqs that the mismanaged peace would result in an Iraqi civil war and eventually an Iraq Iran alliance.

U stupid stupid people.

Just curious, when was your mental breakdown? Jackass.

Maybe I know what pressures are which obviously you have no idea and guarantee that Obama has KNOWN NO pressures in his
"executive" career! He HAD no executive experience!

I beg to differ only because I don't think Obama has a caring bone in his whole body. You're right in thinking a person should be flipping out with all these failures, but Obama is not normal. He's a sociopath.

:eusa_angel:

I don't think he cares about anything except his golf game.

Jake this is not a civil war. A terrorist they refer to as the "Ghost" was released from US custody in 2009.

This jihadist is deadly. You let him go in 2009. Without the fanfare of the 5 Taliban leaders albeit.

But he's beheading is way to Baghdad.

You let him go! Special.

Now Tikrit falls to Islamist terrorists: Hundreds of thousands flee as second Iraqi city is seized by the extremist warlord who is more 'virulent and violent than Bin Laden' - and building an empire

Bang on the money.
He's not going to give up all the perks. Kobe beef, world travel for the kids and the wife being fawned over day and night. Nah. He'll hang in there.

44% is not his lowest ever....also his approval is trending upwards in the last 3 months (at a snail's pace mind you.)

I predict Obama will up and quit too. Lets say, ooooooooo I don't know, some time around Jan. 1 2017.

Do you really think that could be done in a diplomatic way
that will save face politically and maintain positive rhetoric about national security?

Even if both parties united to remove and replace him, wouldn't that add to security issues?

One way I would see to stabilize this situation
is to call on religious leaders of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim nations and
organizations worldwide, and have meetings with all the leaders pushing military
actions and attacks in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.

And agree to work toward stability and reconciliation to rebuild these countries as a team.

Clearly, the political leaders keep playing their military games, at the expense of the mass populations.

If the religious leaders can stand up and take responsibility back, we could shift the
focus back and empower local people to organize and take back control that way.

Through unified partnerships among religious leaders, and people affected in these nations,
to get away from the political messes going on with the heads of govt and military at their expense.

He's not worried at all. His legacy is affirmative action. He knows that all of those problems will be taken care of by the government.
