Obama writes law forcing states to fund Planned Parrenthood

Abortion is legal by federal law.

What a lie. Abortion was made legal by the supreme court, not by any law passed by congress. The constitution says courts are not allowed to write laws but you liberals ignore that.. THINK

The states do not have the right to defund Planned Parenthood for performing abortions when abortions are legal.

HUH??? Appendectomies are legal - does that mean the state has to fund them too??

THINK, maggot-sucker.
Planned Parenthood does not receive state or federal funds for abortions.

"Since 1977, federal law has banned the use of any federal funds for abortion, unless the pregnancy is a result of rape, incest, or if it is determined to endanger the woman’s life. This rule, also known as the Hyde Amendment, is not a permanent law; rather it has been attached annually to Congressional appropriations bills, and has been approved every year by the Congress."

Where do they get the money to pay for a million abortions a year? The Feds and States give them money for everything else and that frees up the donated funds to pay for the abortions.
Okay. I get that argument. The funds are not "donated," though, as far as I know. It's cash on the barrelhead, no matter how poor you are. If the state and federal government are funding a low cost women's health program that is highly successful and nationwide, it's like a free health clinic except this one is only for women.

Yes. The courts are the ones who decide if a law is Constitutional. Which abortion is NOT.

Yes. The courts are the ones who decide if a law is Constitutional. .

Now show us where the constitution grants them this immense power to repeal laws passed by ELECTED members of congress. Most scholars would say the constitution expressly forbids such legislating from the bench when it says " all legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a congress of the united states".

Bitch please! You wouldn't know a scholar if one kicked you in your tiny balls.

The Supreme Court has the power of judicial review, the authority to declare laws made by Congress or states unconstitutional. This power is not stated directly in the Constitution. The right of judicial review was first established in 1803 by Chief JusticeJohn Marshall in the case Marbury versus Madison.
