Obama's "forced diversity" plan to turn suburbs into ghettos

Because SEE LAST POST.
huh? Obama's been pres for seven years, how come middle class isn't better off? I'm sorry and now you want four more years of doing nothing for the middle class?
Did you notice the GOP has blocked EVERYTHING in congress but ACA when the Dems had control for a couple weeks? Probably not, brainwashed functional moron. Still better than having the corrupt GOP in charge. BTW, ACA is great for the middle class, dupe, and so are the EOs, small as they may be. The disastrous GOP is a disgrace DUH. 69 straight months of growth DESPITE them.
ACA is great for the middle class how?
Great already for poor workers, who are no longer forced on to welfare to get health care. The insurance on the exchanges will only get relatively cheaper over the old Pub scam system. No more bankruptcies, cutoffs, or people with pre-existng unable to get coverage. Fact, despite your tidal wave of bs propaganda.
where is insurance cheaper and who pays for the insurance of the poor guy? Who?

The cost curve is bending down relative to what it was before. RELATIVELY CHEAPER.
Workers (and family) earning less than 140% of poverty level get Medicaid, a doctor, and preventive medicine. Except in mindless Red states of course, where they go to the ER, the stupidest system ever. Or just die. That cost is paid by other people in the state, which is why red states sqew the cost curve UP.

Obama got his revenge on Whitey. But at what cost to the country? We'll be paying for his petty racist revenge for many years to come. Third World Misery may be here sooner than most think.

You have to understand the liberal mentality.

Liberals believe we live in a bubble. In our bubble, there is only so much money. That means if one has too much, it's responsible for others having too little.

Of course there is no truth to this at all. But it's what they are told to believe.

The truth is that in our country, money is endless. It's up to the individual to determine how much money they desire. If government took half of all the money millionaires and billionaires have, it wouldn't do the working man one bit of good. All it would do is make government richer.

But as long as liberals believe this, they will always blame our economic woes on the rich people. The real problem is they don't understand that the more you work, the more money you can make.
Only RWers believe that bs...so all this happened because Dems got lazy? lol

The Demise of the American Middle Class In Numbers.

Over the past 30 years the American dream has gradually disappeared. The process was slow, so most people didn’t notice. They just worked a few more hours, borrowed a little more and cut back on non-essentials. But looking at the numbers and comparing them over long time periods, it is obvious that things have changed drastically. Here are the details:

1. WORKERS PRODUCE MORE BUT THE GAINS GO TO BUSINESS.

Over the past 63 years worker productivity has grown by 2.0% per year.

But after 1980, workers received a smaller share every year. Labor’s share of income (1992 = 100%):

1950 = 101%
1960 = 105%
1970 = 105%
1980 = 105% – Reagan
1990 = 100%
2000 = 96%
2007 = 92%

A 13% drop since 1980

2. THE TOP 10% GET A LARGER SHARE.

Share of National Income going to Top 10%:

1950 = 35%
1960 = 34%
1970 = 34%
1980 = 34% – Reagan
1990 = 40%
2000 = 47%
2007 = 50%

An increase of 16% since Reagan.

3. WORKERS COMPENSATED FOR THE LOSS OF INCOME BY SPENDING THEIR SAVINGS.

The savings Rose up to Reagan and fell during and after.

1950 = 6.0%
1960 = 7.0%
1970 = 8.5%
1980 = 10.0% – Reagan
1982 = 11.2% – Peak
1990 = 7.0%
2000 = 2.0%
2006 = -1.1% (Negative = withdrawing from savings)

A 12.3% drop after Reagan.

4. WORKERS ALSO BORROWED TO MAKE UP FOR THE LOSS.

Household Debt as percentage of GDP:

1965 = 46%
1970 = 45%
1980 = 50% – Reagan
1990 = 61%
2000 = 69%
2007 = 95%

A 45% increase after 1980.

5. SO THE GAP BETWEEN THE RICHEST AND THE POOREST HAS GROWN.

Gap Between the Share of Capital Income earned by the top 1%
and the bottom 80%:

1980 = 10%
2003 = 56%

A 5.6 times increase.

6. AND THE AMERICAN DREAM IS GONE.

The Probably of Moving Up from the Bottom 40% to the Top 40%:

1945 = 12%
1958 = 6%
1990 = 3%
2000 = 2%

A 10% Decrease.

Well then maybe you shouldn't be blaming somebody that died over 11 years ago and was out of power for over 25 years. If you ever looked through the internet for something besides kiddy porn, you would realize that most of our jobs (since Reagan) have been replaced by automation. In fact, McDonald's ordered over 70,000 touch pads for customers recently. They are not alone.

Soon all of our fast food will be prepared by machines just like many of our manufactured goods. Do you go to a grocery store or does your mother do it for you? Try it sometime and look at all the self-serve checkouts. Go to your gas station. Do you see any full-service islands there anymore like you did in the 60's and 70's?

Here, why don't you try some education for a change. Here is a dated article from a Doctor of economics--Walter Williams:

"There's great angst over the loss of manufacturing jobs. The number of U.S. manufacturing jobs has fallen, and it's mainly a result of technological innovation, and it's a worldwide phenomenon. Daniel W. Drezner, professor of political science at the University of Chicago, in "The Outsourcing Bogeyman" (Foreign Affairs, May/June 2004), notes that U.S. manufacturing employment between 1995 and 2002 fell by 11 percent. Globally, manufacturing job loss averaged 11 percent. China lost 15 percent of its manufacturing jobs, 4.5 million manufacturing jobs compared with the loss of 3.1 million in the U.S. Job loss is the trend among the top 10 manufacturing countries who produce 75 percent of the world's manufacturing output (the U.S., Japan, Germany, China, Britain, France, Italy, Korea, Canada and Mexico).

But guess what — globally, manufacturing output rose by 30 percent during the same period. According to research by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, U.S. manufacturing output increased by 100 percent between 1987 and today. Technological progress and innovation is the primary cause for the decrease in manufacturing jobs. Should we save manufacturing jobs by outlawing labor-saving equipment and technology?"

Walter Williams

We still have Reaganist policy and tax rates. You're a brainwashed functional moron. THINK!

Here's what I think: I think that since Reagan, we've had two two-term Presidents that didn't do a thing about Reagan's policies. And tax rates have changed several times since he left office. Or don't you remember that we now have higher corporate tax rates, higher income tax rates for those making over 450K, higher capital gains tax rates?

The only two things you can always count on a Democrat for are higher taxes and an endless amount of excuses like it's the President fault who left office 27 years ago. LOL!

He got his revenge on Whitey. He 'Browned it up.' And he succeeded in dividing the nation. He's a racist asshole. Good riddance.

Revenge for what? Without the welfare and affirmative action provided by whites, the black race would starve. Obama doesn't want revenge - he just hates white people and he hates them because he knows without whites to take care of them, blacks go back to the stone age.

Yeah, and who is raising those local taxes--Republicans?

You Democrats don't think about how much your little "green" world costs all of us, do you? The costs are intrinsic in every product we buy. Trust me, I'm a truck driver and my employer passes down all those expensive environmental costs to our customers. They in turn pass it down to us--the little guy.

Guess what else the non-rich pay for? Cigarettes. That's right, one of the first things Ears did when he invaded the White House was institute a big Sin Tax. Who mostly uses tobacco products? The middle-class and the poor.

And how about all those coal fired power plants DumBama closed? How about all the ones he left open provided they put millions of dollars into his idiotic clean energy initiatives? A loss to our American business and yes, those non-rich people. We are the ones that are going to have to pay that bill.

And speaking for the non-rich, let me tell you that every time a Democrat gets power, it costs me money. That doesn't happen with Republican leadership.

You Cradle-to-Gravers will be the end of this country yet.

Inner cities already vote 90% dem so dems want to move poor blacks to the burbs to win elections there!!! The blacks are given huge subsidies to let them have a nice house next to you.

Coming to your suburb: The ghettos

dec 27 2015 The Housing Authority of Baltimore City is secretly relocating Section 8 subsidized housing families from the inner city into suburban homes – and some critics are charging it is part of a plan to deliberately cause damage to the communities there.

“They’re going to be destroying every suburb that they move into, just as they’ve done the inner cities,” said Jesse Lee Peterson. “This is ‘forced diversity.’”

The “forced diversity” to which Peterson objects has been pursued by the Obama administration in several ways, from new regulations putting the federal government’s thumb on the pulse of local zoning actions to immigrant programs that have dumped illegal aliens, both from south of the border as well as the Middle East, into American cities without so much as a notification to the local governor or mayor.

Critics have cited it as a goal of socialist-minded and left-leaning interests who want to assure themselves of power in the federal government for the foreseeable future through the electoral process. The inner cities, with their heavily government-dependent populations, already reliably vote Democrat. Critics charge that moving large numbers of dependent populations into suburbs and other areas is intended to change the voting nature of those populations.

But then moving those numbers of dependent populations to the suburbs will maybe shift the voting power in the cities.

I was joking but you took me serious. FDR saved the capitalist class from the guillotine at the same time he helped the poor.

You are misinformed. ALL state and local pols raise them. Cig use has gone down and saves all huge money. Coal suqs and costs everyone money. WTF did you do with your health insurance to make you lose money, dupe? Next year you corp has to provide, I believe.

I was joking but you took me serious. FDR saved the capitalist class from the guillotine at the same time he helped the poor.

HAHAHA. The great depression would have ended 10 years earlier if FDR had let the market correct itself. THINK
After 3 years of Hoover/Pub depression, there was no correction coming...ANOTHER corrupt Pub World Depression, and many people only survived because of FDR. Since: much less poverty. You should read something rather than just parrot Pubcrappe talking points...

And you don't understand that somebody so far from power has nothing to do with today. Duh.

After 3 years of Hoover/Pub depression, there was no correction coming....

You've been misinformed by our schools. Hoover did the same thing FDR did - tried to manage away the depression instead of letting the market do it.

Doesn't matter. Still a tax on the middle-class and poor. Smoking has been decreasing for decades now. Pay attention.
Despite the best efforts of Southern conservatives and corporate GOPers to keep them dying...

Yes, how terrible it is that people make their own decisions in life. Who do Americans think they are anyway--free people?

Instead, let government control people through taxation and various regulations so they are almost forced to comply just like with Commie Care.

Someday you may have grandchildren reading about times before their lives, and ask you what it was like to live in a free country? To that you can reply "I was one of the people that voted to take freedom away."
