A parking sign that went up in an upmarket Los Angeles neighbourhood has proved a major embarrassment for the city's transport chiefs.
The sign at 11777 San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood was supposed to read "1 hour parking".
But the words "1 minute parking" had been painted on it by mistake.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) was inundated with complaints about the draconian restrictions.
