tell me, what kid is going to stay at home all saturday watching BET? I seem to recall kids going outside with friends and playing sports, going to movies or even using the internet. I highly doubt children stay at home on the weekends just to watch BET.

I'm not offended by what liberals want or what the ACLU does, what offends me is the way you 'spin' it.

As a liberal, I expect people to be accepted for who they are, with a few exceptions obviously (murder, rape, etc), however, labeling, discriminating, degrading people because that particular individual likes or does things that aren't accepted by the 'norm, or as the 'norm, is wrong and thats what we 'liberals' are fighting. Discrimination in all forms.

The ACLU may be entirely made up of liberals, but were it not for the ACLU then individuals liberties would be slowly eroded away because they are different than the 'norm'. They may have some screwed up decisions from time to time but for the most part they are exactly what they say they are, the Union for American Civil Liberties.

I'm not "spinning" anything! I'm making my statement in the most simplistic way possible. Believe me, I can "spin", and that wasn't it.

And I don't agree for one second that the ACLU is fighting for the "DEGRADATION" of people's rights. They are fighting to get "MORE" rights for "MINORITIES", and representing a radical fringe. That is not only discrimation against the majority, but it's wrong. And all too often, the minority they're fighting for has something to do with a group with a perverted agenda. Whether that be sexual, religous or political, "perversion" refers to the distortion of something.
