It's always a breath of fresh air to get some facts around here. Thank you.
But since nothing you cited requires family separations, I'm not sure how this defends your man. Bush and Obama also followed the law without separating parents from children.

You are right there is nothing that specifically states "separation of families". If you follow all laws and the court rulings it was going to happen.

Bush and Obama didn't do enforce the rules that is why.

Anyway, it's a relief it's over, but I hope it won't remove the flame from Congress's backside because they should be dealing with this and DACA and the rest of it. They cancelled the Congressional picnic to work on it. Let's hope this doesn't take away their sense of urgency. I hope there is bipartisan support for whatever, because if they come up with something that makes border security and sensible treatment of illegals (including speedy adjudication) a reality, I think they should be lauded as heroes.

It won't be over because Democrats don't want this to be actually fixed. If they did they would have fixed it in the 8 years they had.

The other difference between the two sides as seen in the Obama/Reid government shutdown of several years ago is that while Trump will hold his cards over the Left's heads trying to get them to cooperate in doing intelligent things, he'll finally acquiesce rather than hurt innocent people, whereas Obama and the Left had ABSOLUTELY NO SCRUPLES in screwing over the American citizen, the taxpayer, the military Vet, etc., deliberately screwing all of us for as long as it took shutting down every public service they could UNTIL THEY GOT THEIR WAY.
