Oh good grief! His fundraising in the past couple of weeks has hit 19 million in the joint fund with the RNC alone. No new data on the personal fundraising.

New fundraising team has just been put together with the exit of Corey and Manafort taking charge. Trying to remember the name of his new head honcho of fundraising but I'm on my first coffee and I'm drawing a blank.

The recent flurry of fundraisers follows the campaign’s staggeringly low haul in May, when it raised just $3.1 million and ended the month with $1.3 million on hand. Mrs. Clinton raised $28 million in that period and ended the month with $42 million in the bank."

Unfortunately for the ground game, Trump's loyalty to Corey cost him a bit. I admire Corey as much as anyone for taking Trump across the finish line in the primaries but it was his time to go a lot sooner than when he was recently cut loose.

He just wasn't ready to take on the general election.

Now with Manafort clearly in charge I don't have any misgivings.

A week later, NBC News has learned the FEC has posted no record of Trump converting his loans to donations. The Trump Campaign has also declined requests to share the legal paperwork required to execute the transaction, though they suggest it has been submitted.

Last week, campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks said Trump was submitting formal paperwork forgiving the loan on Thursday, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Reached by NBC this week, she said the paperwork "will be filed with the next regularly scheduled FEC report," and declined to provide any documentation.

The delay could matter, because until Trump formally forgives the loans, he maintains the legal option to use new donations to reimburse himself. (He can do so until August, under federal law.)

He only started saying he would forgive the loans after he was incurring alot of public heat on the subject. Until that point, there was never any indication whatsoever that he would forgive the loans. As of yet, we still don't have any evidence that he will do so. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't "forgive" the loans until after he's collected 99% reimbursements off of RNC money.
