Police officer goes above and beyond for Sumter teen - Live5News.com | Charleston, SC | News, Weather, Sports

So, this pig shows up to a call with a kid who is struggling because of his live in poverty, and mom who is struggling. And the cop decides, instead of beating everyone or tasing them or making false charges......doing what we know ALL cops do, he instead:

Buys the kid a new bed, TV and video game, with his own money, and delivers it, and tries to do something to help this kid.

Damn pig jack booted thugs.

(If you cant get the sarcasm: 1,000,000 cops in America. The media only focuses on the 1% bad apples; Shocked that the media even covered this story, one which happens every day in America)

Thanks to both responses.

It would make a great sociological experiment to study this though. A bad-cop story gets HUGE media coverage, and massive feedback from citizens.

But a good-cop story? Almost no one covers it, and almost no one cares.

Its almost like society WANTS to dislike cops. Wonder why that is?

Cops are not the police state.

While I applaud the actions of this officer, I am at a loss as to the meaning of this thread.
