Corruption with sex as being part of the ingredient/incentive/ motivator within a world that is shadowed by such things, has since encaptured it's victim's who became weakened by the corrupt allure of it all.

Epstien finding out that politician's seeking power or already having power, and celebrities seeking power or being already with power, were vulnerable targets in the scheme of things, and it's all because of their lust for power or feeling that nothing can touch them while they are in power.
