I broached this question three months ago.

Will The Democrats Finally Admit They Are a Socialist Party? | US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

Latest polling on specifically this subject would seem to indicate I am correct. The Democratic Party is officially a Socialist party. Are they going to continue to hem and haw and deny this is the case or finally man up and admit it to America?

Senator Bernie Sanders’s speech on Thursday explaining his democratic socialist ideology carried little risk among supporters and other Democrats: A solid majority of them have a positive impression of socialism, according to a New York Times/CBS News poll released this month.

Fifty-six percent of those Democratic primary voters questioned said they felt positive about socialism as a governing philosophy, versus 29 percent who took a negative view.

While some Sanders allies worry that his decades-long identification as a democratic socialist will hurt him, 56 percent of Democratic primary voters say they hold a positive view of socialism.

Socialism has always been a part of our system. The word was demonized for a while, and became just just a word to describe something you don't like. Socialism has a more specific meaning than we have used, and it doesn't always mean something bad.

RWs absolutely love Socialist programs - when they benefit from it. The difference is that they don't want to pay for it.

Yeah, them lefties really want to pay for those programs.
Just look at Buffett and Gates, sending extra billions to DC....wait, what?
Never mind.

You can't be serious.

Are you really saying that RW wealthy are sending "extra billions to DC" for any other reason than to make more billions.

How much "extra" has Drumpf paid?

Compare Drumpf to Gates. Go ahead. I'll wait.

Gates and Buffett are paying extra taxes to fund Socialist programs? Link?

Is Trump a lefty? Because I was talking about lefties.

Of course not, as long as it's you with your hand in your neighbor's pockets. Socialism does have a specific meaning, caring for those unable to care for themselves isn't socialism. Lack of personal property rights is. The truth is that the socialist scum has been working hard for decades to demonize the word capitalism and true to form, they project their tactics onto their enemies and hope no one notices.

Capitalism has not been demonized, but unchecked capitalism is destructive.

Define unchecked capitalism in your world. There's no such thing. That's one of the dishonest tactics libs use, unfettered is usually the word they love to use though. That's anarchy, not capitalism.

Good. You admit that capitalism does need limits. I guess that's a start.

Even if Bernie does not get the nod and he Won't as its a fixed out come. He has set up socialists to be a major force in the democrat party at least to the point of forcing a name change. {Democrat socialists}.

"Poll Watch: Democrats, Even Clinton Supporters, Warm to Socialism"

Meaningless absent consensus as to what constitutes 'socialism.'

Otherwise, democrats are ardent supporters of free market capitalism, they are themselves capitalists, benefit from free markets, and advocate for programs that promote capitalism.

What most on the ignorant, clueless right fail to realize is that democrats are pragmatists, they don't adhere blindly to a particular economic dogma, and correctly understand that the Commerce Clause authorizes necessary, proper, and Constitutional regulatory measures intended to check aspects of capitalism harmful to both workers and consumers.

Have any of your dumbass predictions ever come true? For a man who claims such a high IQ you sure make a lot of dumb posts.

Like I said, you are clueless to what capitalism even means. We "limit" capitalism in the same way we limit freedom. Lack of limits is anarchy, not capitalism. Have a grade schooler walk you through it.
