Possible results will surely be the ecstatic economic windfall that both Japan and China will experience as the EU turns east and raises its middle finger to Trump's antics.....

But even more important, this conference is precisely what Putin was waiting for...

What will Putin get from Trump???

One......Perhaps a lifting of sanctions and free rein to annex even more territory from Ukraine and maybe other bordering countries.

Two......A tacit nod that Russia's Assad in Syria will remain in power

Three.....Further weakening of NATO

and What will Trump get from Putin???

One......The ex-KGB's unending gratitude and everlasting affection.....and, of course, Trump's free access to money-laundered Russian oligarchs' bank accounts.....

well one thing coming out of it

is the United States is going to start selling natural gas to Poland

which really upsets Merkel

at this point it harder to tell who is upset more

Merkel or the Russians who under "lead from behind" Obama

had pretty much cornered the European gas market
