A guy who has never had a real job outside of government would join a union. Funny. And his public service hasn't been impressive. He usually voted 'present' while in the Illinois senate, spent most of his time in congress traveling and preparing to run for president. He claims not to know what goes on in his own administration till he hears it on the news and he rushes to the golf course when the going gets tough. And he wants people to take him seriously? Now he's kissing union butt because elections are coming up and he wants unions to spend millions on his liberal buddies. Not enough that he gave them waivers for Obamacare.

Of course he'd join a union. They protect thriftless, worthless employees from being fired. If Obama , or indeed any Congresspersons were my employees, they would either quit or be fired within a week I promise that.

My first job was flipping burgers for $1.10/hour back in 1971. I used that money to help buy food and clothing for my siblings and my newly-widowed mother.The Union of Soviet Socialists?
