So, watching CBC and other networks after every decision Trump makes that might impact Canada, it is always presented as a potentially "good" for Canada. LOL. I have to tell you, this is about as disingenuous as it gets.

Some examples:

After Trump announced the banning of refugees from some countries (which is still in flux), Canadian media claimed it was potentially good news for Canada since we would reap the best from these countries who will now choose Canada as a destination rather than America.

When Trump declared he was building a wall, Canada claimed it would be good news for Canada, as we will remain welcoming to these citizens and become more competitive. Then, record numbers of asylum seekers from America illegally entered Canada, causing massive costs and resources, it is expected to get much worse in the summer.

When Trump announced he was going to renegotiate NAFTA, CBC and other news outlets claimed this is "a great opportunity for Canada to have our grievances dealt with also" (right, because we are going to pretend we don't violate NAFTA and exploit American businesses)". It is such a positive thing that PM Trudeau was on the horn convincing Trump NOT to leave NAFTA.

After Wilbur Ross declared that America was applying tariffs to Canadian lumber due to subsidies and other abuses by Canada (and soon dairy I imagine), CBC claimed, without a smile I might add, "this could be good news for Canada, as it will cause Canada to re-think it's supply management structure". The government then sent almost a billion dollars to these same companies who were impacted, once again, causing problems with the U.S and now potentially the WTO. Yeah, this worked out really well for Canada. Also, the loss of 2000 jobs if Canada didn't grant these companies this cash.

Now, unbelievably, on a local news network in Toronto, CP24, these clowns tried to push the narrative that "Trump leaving the Paris Accord is a great opportunity for Canada". Wow. Such a great opportunity because they believe somehow Canadian innovation; which has been lacking for decades, will somehow miraculously lead the world because America won't be competition for us. Meanwhile, those in the know; business leaders and people who place their own money on the line, see this as a very bad situation for Canada because we will actually be less competitive due to restrictions, and, we will potentially lose massive oil revenues to the oil boom going on in West Texas.

Bottom line, when you hear and read these asinine responses from a neo-communist country that has exploited America for a long time and reaped massive benefit at Americas expense, you KNOW that the spin game is on.

Canada has been the testing ground for globalists. It was a system I believed in, until I realized the pendulum has swung far too much in one direction, undermining Canadian liberty, accountability and self determination. It has become so bad that Canada is looking at a potential free trade deal with China, in which China is demanding they send their own workers to Canada to work these jobs. We also literally fly in workers from many countries, house them, and let them work jobs at Tim Hortons, normally reserved for young workers.

Get 'er done Trump don't worry about the rest of the world, they KNOW that what you are doing is best for America, and this is the primary reason they despise you. If the above malarkey is coming from Canadian media patsies, you can imagine how angry the EU is. Carry on!

Don't you believe it. Trump is the golden goose for the people. He's like Robin Hood. Look at who is complaining about him: all those who stand to lose by his policies!

The globalist elitist politicians.

Their covering media.

The minions working for the above.

Trump is a guy who parleyed a million dollar grub stake into ten billion dollars for himself. Doers anyone seriously think he cannot do similar for the people???

Calgary Stampede

Have you talked to anybody from Alberta? How do they feel about Howdy Trudy? I know they hated his Daddy, without whom he'd be a McKenzie Brother. Do you think they'll secede and join the Great White South?

The vacuum Trump is leaving in the world certainly benefits everyone else. Just like Brexit benefits the world because the UK surrendered all their trade leverage.

Yeah, how ever did England make it for thousands of years with out the EU?

.
By surviving countless wars against the rest of Europe, before the rest of the world had the capability of threatening them. Then they were almost destroyed in WW2. After that they joined the EU because they could not compete by themselves against the emerging world powers at the end of the 20th century.

The EU has been in full force for a whopping 15 years and many of the EU States are finding out what it's like living under an overbearing central government and many don't like it. England is just the first to say, enough.

The EU has existed in some form for over 60 years. It's going to be a hard road for the UK for a long time.

The EU has developed an internal single market through a standardised system of laws that apply in all member states. EU policies aim to ensure the free movement of people, goods, services, and capital within the internal market,[11] enact legislation in justice and home affairs, and maintain common policies on trade,[12] agriculture,[13] fisheries, and regional development.[14] Within the Schengen Area, passport controls have been abolished.[15] A monetary union was established in 1999 and came into full force in 2002, and is composed of 19 EU member states which use the euro currency.

The EU traces its origins from the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) and the European Economic Community (EEC), formed by the Inner Six countries in 1951 and 1958, respectively. Next the treaty of Rome of 1957 created the European Community made up of the six core countries of Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and West Germany. The decades following many new members joined them while at the same time integration of economic, cultural, judicial and so forth would then deepen the relationships distinct European entity. The community and its successors have grown in size by the accession of new member states and in power by the addition of policy areas to its remit. While no member state has left the EU or its antecedent organisations, the United Kingdom enacted the result of a membership referendum in June 2016 and is currently negotiating its withdrawal. The Maastricht Treaty established the European Union in 1993 and introduced European citizenship.[16] The latest major amendment to the constitutional basis of the EU, the Treaty of Lisbon, came into force in 2009.

The UK was not part of that. Soon, they won't be part of anything. The U.S. should jump at taking advantage of them and their now weak trade leverage.

Who knows what Canada's interests are. Cheap energy would be in Canada's best interests but it seems that the hypocrites in the Canadian media don't give a damn if Canadians don't have enough money to stay warm in the harsh winters. As long as Canada has the U.S. to protect them they can spend their defense money on new hockey rinks.

It's a fucked up concept… Only thing worse than nationalism is globalism

Dopey and the Dwarfs

They're brainwashed into some Trekkie Kumbaya planetary fantasy. Being children of the Sci-Fi Wonderland makes them feel good, so they don't have to think, except wishfully.

I you think about it. WWI WWII were about Germany taking over the Europe and Great Briton, twice it occured until someone figured out we only have to control the money, and EU is just what that is all about. Germany controling Europe. Then you have to look at the Europe super rich, they have control of many segments of wealth and have pretty much control of Europe, then we have several in the USA who are apart of this group such as George Soros and Buffet who are trying to control the USA and South America they are having problems because we have freedom and we have caught on to the "grand slam" going on and the taking away of freedoms. We (USA) take this as unAmerican and will not go like a herd of sheep.
