Where are sentenced to prison corrupted officials in Europe?E.g. these who are responsible for Berlin Airport, Oilkilioto power plant etc etc etc?Only very small folks go to prison in Europe, never serious criminal or corrupted officials.Everybody knows there is almost no one government order without bribing of officials or politicians in Germany. Where then are imprisoned corrupted criminals?Russian is the True Democracy which can effectively punish its corrupted criminals.

Russia’s ex-economics minister, Alexei Ulyukayev, has been found guilty of accepting a bribe and sentenced to eight years in a prison colony, as well as being fined $2m (£1.5m), a Moscow judge announced on Friday.
Judge Larisa Semenova began reading her verdict at 11.30am – aloud, in a mumbled mantra, as is customary in Russia. Already early in her judgment, it was clear that Mr Ulyukayev would be found guilty; this happens in more than 99 per cent of judge-led verdicts. But it took over two hours to establish that he would be given a such a harsh custodial sentence.

Independent called Ulyukayev "Putin's" but he's actually Medvedev's because Russian PM Medvedev is his boss.

Putin should fire Medvedev many years ago. The guy is completely not qualified to run this high office.

I can't say for sure but looks like Medvedev is a pretty decent and smart person. If some of his ministers are dishonest it doesn't automatically mean he's as well. Sounds like Putin is pretty happy with the results of Medvedev's Cabinet work: Russia's economy is growing IN SPITE of all the pressure and sanctions from US and EU.

I hope Putin knows it best.
