A box fan from Wal Mart is around 17 dollars, a squirrel cage fan for your system is anywhere from one hundred twenty-five to several hundred depending on size and horsepower, even though you don't have to feed the horses.Moonglow

He lives in Las Vegas and a friend of mine that lives there says the highs are in the seventies, they are here also.It'll damage your wallet for sure. But if that's not an issue...... Get a noisy bunch of birds. Or kids. And where ya live where you don't have heat on by now?
For twenty-two dollars you can get a white noise machine that they use in an office setting to keep people from listening in on what is said in a room.
Hey, I worked for NPR station at the University of Arkansas and we had to play the hillbilly version of Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons".OR he could just turn on NPR... A lot cheaper and made to ignore.
Only if "All Things Considered" is on.Why don't you just tune your radio to NPR at low volume. That'll give you some background noise that's easy to ignore.
