R-Wers ask: "Why doesn't Sanders defend Venezuela"?

The clip where Bernie admires Castro is telling of the blindness of socialists. He says, Everyone was totally convinced Castro was the worst guy in the world and all the Cuban people were going to rise up in rebellion against Fidel Castro...but that didn't happen.

Well no sh*t Sherlock. The ones that did were put up against a wall and shot, thrown in prison or driven into exile. That's what happens in a workers paradise when you rebel against your elitist masters. Bernie only tells half the story about the wonders of socialism.

Fine. Now explain Greece.

Actually, rather simple to explain Greece.......Countries like Greece, Portugal and even Spain should have NEVER joined the EU and its monetary policies because (beside simple geography) their economies are NOT based on manufacturing and exports......tourism...and all the accompanying benefits of tourism, are basically these countries' source of most of their income.

When was the last time you bought a car or some furniture or clothing with the label "made in Portugal or Greece" ???? A few olive oil or figs jam exports is what you may only see.

NO Moron.......Sanders is relaying a bit of real history....he was NOT saying "we should be like Castro". God you idiots are just stupid right wingers.

The Castro brothers and the paradise Bernie so admires.

Castro entered the city on Jan. 8; a few days earlier, his brother Raul had taken control of Santiago, Cuba's second-largest city. On Jan. 10, Raul Castro, now president of Cuba, ordered a long, deep trench dug near the historical San Juan Hill, site of the U.S. skirmishes against the Spanish led by Teddy Roosevelt, which took place on Jan. 11.

His army's trucks hauled 70 Cuban nationals to the site, lined them up and executed them. Their bodies fell into the trench and were buried. There were no trials or "due process."

Hopes for democracy won't stay buried in Cuba

Fine. Now admit you're blindly flailing to feebly protect "Democratic Socialism".

It's even sorrier than defending Hillary's corruption and irresponsibility.

Actually, the best you could do is bow out of your own thread with whatever vestige of dignity you have left.

I really don't care if most of you right wingers on this thread want to remain stupid low-life....sincerely, I DO NOT give a crap.
The main reasons for these types of forums is to .....at least......try to have some smarter folks research something that they may know little about, instead (like you hard line and declining, right wing nitwits, searching for like-minded bloggers, Fox idiots or Limbaugh telling you what you want to hear.

Hey, fuckhead, has Sanders told you he wants to be like Castro?.....What you're repeating is Cuban history and poorly assuming that "liberals" want to be like Castro's Cubans....which is asinine

Nat,

Calling people names--people who don't share your socialist fantasies and who aren't blind to history, is about as intellectually convincing as a Mexican flag at a U.S. political protest.

But please continue. It's frigging hilarious watching a socialist meltdown.

I knew that my explanation of Greece's problems was way OVER your half brain.......But, thank you for showing your stupidity.

What you compare to a "socialist meltdwon" is factual education......Now, post something else that is obvious about the failed Castro regime...as if THAT was what Sanders is calling for....Go on, it keep me entertained.

I, a Greek citizen and long-time resident, need a socialist to explain what went wrong with it's Democratic Socialism.

That would be like me explaining what it's like being a dingbat to you.

So, moron....as a "citizen of Greece" tell us what manufactured products are coming out of Greece beside olive oil and figs???

I would tell you that olive oil and figs are not manufactured products. I wouldn't think one wouldn't have to be a Greek citizen to establish that. Only a true moron would think so.

You really are a dingbat, eh?

^^^^^ LOL That

On another thread, the usual, poorly educated right wing dimwits, are all salivating as to why Bernie Sanders does not defend the failures of Venezuela's so-called socialism.

The question is stupid, infantile, biased.......and IRRELEVANT.

Sanders does NOT want to emulate Venezuela......Venezuela's failures are not a result of socialism, but a result of a one-source economy...OIL.......To compare Venezuelan socialism to the concept of overall socialism, reminds me of moronic right wingers who earlier this week compared NEW Mexican protesters as "illegal Mexicans"...

The reality is (or should be0 simple.......Sanders wants for the US to emulate the type of socialism that other capitalistic countries employ....and employ well in servicing the needs of their respective populations.

Counties that have done an exceptional job of combining capitalistic economic precepts with socially responsible socialistic priorities, include: GERMANY, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, the U.K., and FRANCE. (there are many others, of course.)

If some right wingers want to honestly compare Sanders' democratic socialism to Venezuela, they are showing their stupidity and biases based on poor education.

I made the accusation that Bernie will not defend Venezuela, because it is true.

Venezuela Is Falling Apart

Read

It’s true that oil prices have since fallen—a risk many people foresaw, and one that the government made no provision for—but that can hardly explain what’s happened: Venezuela’s garish implosion began well before the price of oil plummeted. Back in 2014, when oil was still trading north of $100 per barrel, Venezuelans were already facing acute shortages of basic things like bread or toiletries.

The Country was doomed with or without low oil prices.

Bullshit! That is exactly what Colonel Sanders desires. He wants a government take over of private industry, wage and cost controls, "free" everything to control the poor and demonization of the rich. He is an utter fool and it shows from his lazy supporters. You ever hear the saying you are the company you keep! Sander supporters are mostly uneducated, lazy failures just like him.

Word to numbnutz, Venezuela had a failing economy when oil prices were high. It is convenient for liberals to blame it on oil (similar to how rednecks like Snouter blame everything on the JJJJOOOOSSSS). When the truth be total they were failing with high oil prices when Chavez destroyed their economy through similar policies Bernie Sanders desires.

Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil (USSR & North Korea) have FAILED due to the nonsensical policies that the failure, in every sense of the word, Bernie Sanders supports.

Side note: I find it interesting how Venezuela's murder rate has exploded when Comrade Chavez enacted a total ban on guns. Another rule that liberals desire and Sanders says he has flip flopped to.

All Dims have to do is continue their current path.

Destroy the education by continuing to dumb down citizens via the public education system.

Offer up idiots like Bernie to offer us the idiocy of socialism whom people will vote for.

It's really just that simple.

I think the destruction of the economy is intentional, but they think it is for a "good" purpose.

Essentially, they wish to reduce population levels and reduce the consumption of natural resources and reduce pollution levels and carbon footprints. If you were to continue a booming economy, it would only lead to more people and the consumption of more natural resources and more pollution, so now they must kill the free market and the freedom enjoyed by those in a booming economy all in an effort to save "mother earth".

Are the clinically insane? Yes, but who can stop them?

True....my "mistake" olive oil is bottled directly from the trees and sold on the spot......:ahole-1:

Bingo! Bernie's defense is even sorrier than the dingbat's.
