Where the wild things are
An attack on a Jewish woman in the Negev on Monday was part of a greater pattern of Bedouin violence against Jews in the region, according to Rabbi Avichai Ronsky, a former IDF Chief Rabbi and former resident of the Negev.

On Monday, Bedouin men threw a massive stone at an Israeli woman’s car as she drove near Kfar Retamim. “She was a hair’s breadth away from serious injury,” Rabbi Ronsky told Arutz Sheva.

The incident was far from a one-time event, he said. Just days earlier a Bedouin mob attacked a car in which a Jewish man and his heavily pregnant wife were traveling. The mob surrounded the car and beat it with metal bars.

The attackers fled only after the Jewish man pulled out a gun.

where shall we begin this litany of injustice...

"In a pre-dawn raid on July 27, 2010, Israeli security forces destroyed all 45 homes, animal pens, and other structures in the village of al-Araqib, leaving more than 300 people homeless, about half of them children under 16. Nearly 90,000 Palestinian Arab Bedouins, the indigenous inhabitants of the Negev (Naqab) region of southern Israel, live in dozens of "unrecognized" towns. Because the Israeli authorities refuse to recognize their towns and villages, the Bedouins risk the destruction of their homes at any time."

can you say A-P-A-R-T-H-E-I-D. this is how the most loyal of israeli arabs are treated.

again, lipush...get outta town and go back to where you or your people came from and stop terrorising the natives.

If that Jewish man didn't have a gun him and his wife would be dead.

if there weren't such a long history of abuse of the bedouins by jews, that jewish man probably wouldn't have even needed a gun.

perhaps some day israeli jews will figure out that the constant abuse and disregard of the human rights of indigenous people often has disastrous, and just, consequences, at least on the orbs for orbs, molars for molars playing field.

Beduoins are nomads.

Many of them don't recognize Israel and don't want citizenship at all.

But that doesn't stop them from wanting the state's protection.

How is THAT fair?

the people of the negev bedouin nation were nomads long before jewish europeans came to the area and inflicted western concepts of property and sedentism on them. they had and have a right to maintain that lifestyle.

"fair" is never a word any israeli jew should ever use, but particularly when discussing their criminal treatment of the bedouin nation.

you should go back to where you came from and stop committing your acts of genocide.

you will never see peace in the middle east if you continue to disregard the indigenous peoples' HUMAN rights..
