Election 2014: Illinois Governor - Rasmussen Reports?

Please god let Rauner win! This is big that the challenger is beating the incumbent this early. A great sign and a great man. Hopefully Rauner can turn around the stated once he is elected.

Has Quinn done that badly in Illinois? I am not from there so don't follow other states politics unless its particularly interesting.

(1) 50 of 50 in state bond ratings.
(2) One of the highest unemployment rates in the country, well above the country's media UR.
(3) Rankd again by CEOs as the worst place to do business or start a business in.
(4) IN, WI, OH and even TX have been getting our companies to relocate to their states.
(5) A highway robbery budget pension crisis (wasn't really his fault, was kicked down the road, but this douche bag is intent on making it worse).
(6) Never ending deficit (which grew even after the tax increase).
(7) High income tax on the middle class (yes I know CA can get to 13%, but on over a million, on the middle class IL takes the cake, highest corporate tax in the country, high gas and sales tax also.
(8) TOP FIVE high property tax rate in the country.
(9) One of the worst education systems in the country.
(10) One of the largest state governments in the country.
(11) A continued culture of corruption in state government, which is known as the Chicago way!
(12) His corporate backdoor deals to keep the highest corporate tax increase away from the big corporations that threatened to leave the state (Caterpillar, John Deere, Novastar, United, Sears, Motorola, Allstate etc just to name a few) and stick the highest corporate tax rate in the country on the small business C-Corps that don't have the deep pockets for lobbyist, can not relocate with ease and do not make the headlines when they move to IN, WI, OH or TX (which many did)!


Is he to blame for all of this? No, but he and his party are intent on making it worse. He desire to destroy the state.

Goodness. No wonder he is losing. Hope the voters can toss him out and put someone better in there.
