So is this an issue of allegedly overvaluing a charitable contribution? Isn't there a difference between assessed tax value and appraised market value? Doesn't the latter apply?

Do you own a home? If so, you would never sell it for what the county assessment is. There is a time element as welll. Anyone who isnt a dickweed knows if you have owned your home for 20 years you will likely pay less than the person who buys it.

No, it absolutely doesn't. Tax value is often much less that market value. In this case, the tax value was far too low. That is not Trump's fault. Have you ever called your local accessor's office to challenge the LOW assessment value of your property? LOL...you are a Democrat, so anything is possible.

Ok..so again, is mar a lago part of a business that is incorporated in New York? That’s all I’m asking. I don’t know. I’ve searched and can’t really find anything about it.

On papper the property is not owned by Trump personally, but by a company.

How excatly it ties into his primary bussiness incorporated in NY is murky, like everything he does - a scheme at every turn.
