Remember That Time When Vice President Harris Joked About Killing President Trump, VP Pence, and US AG Jeff Sessions?

"In 2018, Senator Kamala Harris appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, during which DeGeneres asked Harris a series of random questions from cards. It was upbeat and all in the name of humor, but things got seriously dark when DeGeneres asked, “If you had to be stuck in an elevator with either President Trump, Mike Pence, or Jeff Sessions, who would it be?”

“Does one of us have to come out alive?” Harris asked, then laughed hysterically."

Kamala Harris made a joke of killing the president of the United States, the vice president of the United States, and the attorney general of the United States. She laughed. She thought it was funny. Ellen DeGeneres also laughed, as did the audience. Kamala’s joke normalized and trivialized political violence. But Donald Trump, who told his supporters to march peacefully to the Capitol, was impeached for “inciting violence.”

C'mon, man! Give it a rest. That statement trivialized nothing as it was clearly a joke and was "upbeat and all in the name of humor", so take it that way.
Unless, of course, you are making something out of nothing. And she said nothing about "killing". Be real

Lame. That is pretty obviously a joke. Can you get any lamer?

What if:

"In 2018, President Donald Trump appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show, during which DeGeneres asked Trump a series of random questions from cards. It was upbeat and all in the name of humor, but things got seriously dark when DeGeneres asked, “If you had to be stuck in an elevator with either VP Biden, Kamala Harris, or Nancy Pelosi, who would it be?”

“Does one of us have to come out alive?” Trump asked, then laughed hysterically."

Imagine if it were like this. How would the leftist social media and traditional news entertainment media react? Please be honest.

I would find that hilarious :). Sort of thing I wish I would have come up with

It's a joke. It's an OBVIOUS joke.

If you want to go in the grey area where a joke really isn't so funny or might cross a line - remember what's her name, the comedian who pretended to have a severed Trump head?
You would but I didn't ask what Coyote would find funny. How do you think social media would react? I bet it would be 95% negative and call Trump a murderer. Yes, you and I know its a joke. Leftists sans you don't find jokes funny at the expense of other leftists.

I think there are always those on the left (media) and the right (media) who go out of their way to find something to be outraged about. They live for it.

The rightwing media was outraged over this one: Why do conservatives want George Lopez arrested?

and apparently outraged over Harris.
Right, 5% of the media but 95% is left leaning and they would want Trump impeached if he made such a joke. I am not defending RW media at all, I am stating that LW media is biased and idiotic.
I don't know about impeachment, but Trump encourages violence and if he said something like that, it would surprise no one.

The current VP made a 'joke' about killing the President, VP, and US AG. Such 'jokes' usually result in a visit and investigation by Secret Service, and many people say behind every joke is a little bit of honesty / truth.

Seeing as how the 'joke' came from the most radical Democrat in Congress, one who helped bail out foreign-funded Democrat-supported domestic terrorists who were engaging in extreme violence that caused several hundred BILLIONS of dollars in damage, to get them out of jail and put them back on the street to commit more violence, the 'joke' did 'trivialize' violence against the US President against the US Vice President, and US AG.

Bullshit. A nothing burger, but if it makes you feel better then go for the gold.

It is provably false that he incites violence. But progressive loons, like you, don't let facts get in the way of your propaganda.

Trump supported and encouraged violence all the time, so suck it up and admit it for what it was. It's one reason why he lost the election. Voters were sick of his pugnacious attitude.

Why do you think she was joking?

I don't know about impeachment, but Trump encourages violence and if he said something like that, it would surprise no one.

President trump held hundreds of rallies with hundreds of thousands of people attending with NEVER any violence. The only violence that occurred was when a pre-planned riot occurred on 6 Jan 2021, during which time the President gave a speach in which he asked Americans to peacefully walk to the Capitol and cheer on politicians.

Transcripts of the President's speech confirm this.

It is Impossible for a President to 'Incite Insurrection' of a pre-planned event.

Released FBI records show the riot was coordinated on Twitter and Facebook, without any 'incitement' from the President.

Finally, again, Pelosi herself admitted the move is intended to protect the Democratic pary, not the country, from Trump's political threat in 2024 and beyond.

Give the 'Trump is a violent threrat;' schtik a brerak. No one is buying it and nows this is more Democrat abuse of power and partisan BS.

Thank you for your 'Orange man Bad' opinion. :p

Remember when the Democrats' violent rhetoric inspired an assassination attempt against GOP politicians in a pulic park?

That was a 'joke', too, right, snowflakes?

Remember when Maxine Waters told snowflakes to commit civil disturbances, to violate Republicans' personal spaces, to physically accost them in public?

Mad Max now claims that was not 'inciting violence'. She must be claiming THAT was a 'joke'.

No, he didn't. He advocated for people to defend themselves from the violence you leftist stormpoopers were dishing out with impunity because the lefty DA's were letting the violent leftist goons go free.

Just remember this, when the laws are corrupted as you people are doing, violence is the only action left to the oppressed.

There was no Dem rhetoric. The shooter was a lone wolf and Trump-supporting loan wolves have committed like crimes.
