Remembering Barbarossa

You're really ignorant. Fascist is hard right conservative...

"American progressives, for the most part, did not disavow fascism until the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust became manifest during World War II. After the war, those progressives who had praised Mussolini and Hitler in the 1920s and 1930s had no choice but to dissociate themselves from fascism. “Accordingly,” writes Jonah Goldberg, “leftist intellectuals redefined fascism as 'right-wing' and projected their own sins onto conservatives, even as they continued to borrow heavily from fascist and pre-fascist thought.” This progressive campaign to recast fascism as the "right-wing" antithesis of communism was aided by Joseph Stalin,..."

Goldberg, Liberal Fascism

Historian Paul Johnson explains: “Christianity was content with a solitary hate-figure to explain evil- Satan. But the modern secular faiths needed human devils, whole categories of them. The enemy, to be plausible, had to be an entire class or race.” Paul Johnson, “Modern Times: The World From The Twenties to The Nineties,” p. 117. For a century, Democrats used blacks as the mythical enemy to rally their troops. Today, they use conservatives, Tea Partiers, and Fox News.

German industry competed for contracts and resources. They made huge profits

Actually, the US was Socialist in WWII with the government telling companies what they could produce, what resources they could have, who they could hire, what they paid and what they charged for their goods
Profits relative to the Nazi economy which quickly went 'south' as the war progressed.
Also, much of that "profitability" derived from use of slave labor, provided by the fascist Nazi government.
Doesn't fit the classic free enterprise capitalism model.

How Hitler screwed up Barbarossa

He started the invasion too late in the year
Ukraine would have supported him against Russia. They hated Stalin. Instead of treating them as Allie’s, he treated them as subhuman
Infantry and supply lines could not keep up with the attack Panzer Divisions
Attacking Stalingrad had little tactical value
Troops were not supplied with winter gear
