Remembering Barbarossa

Just a further explanation about why the brain-washed, dedicated Liberals believe absurdities such as "Germany was about to take over the world."

If government school didn't cause them to believe that rubbish, there would be a question about why Franklin Roosevelt worked tirelessly to support the homicidal maniac Joseph Stalin, and make certain that Soviet Communism survived, and found a home in his administration and in America.

No, Germany would not have conquered the USSR.

Hitler knew that....and so must have Roosevelt.

Here are the facts:
.. when Operation Barbarossa started on June 22, 1941, the available (German) supplies of fuel, tires, spare parts etc., were only good enough for about two months.....

Stalin, in fact, had been supplying resources to Hitler.

The Wehrmacht continued to advance, albeit very slowly, and by mid-November some units found themselves at only 30 kilometers from the capital. But the troops were now totally exhausted, and running out of supplies. Their commanders knew that it was simply impossible to take Moscow.

72 Years Ago, December 1941: Turning Point of World War II
'The Victory of the Red Army in front of Moscow was a Major Break'…
by Jacques Pauwels

By attacking in June, Hitler had planned to avoid Russia's three greatest generals....December, January, and February.
He didn't.

So....once one recognizes that Stalin was going to be the winner.....
....why did FDR send him supplies that the Allies could have used?
The schools hide the truth to shield FDR from richly deserved contumely.

Same reason so many universities eschew teaching the French Revolution....students might recognize that it gave birth to every totalitarian revolution in modern times.

"....realistically middle sized Germany could not defeat the much larger Ussr in the long term. Germany would have eventually surrendered to the western allies to prevent total occupation by the USSR ..."

Make up yer mind since there is no true Marxist based communist state in existence and there never has been.

How about Venezuela? The Chavistas have been meticulous in implementing strict, doctrinaire Marxism.

“The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented,”- as observed by our own tremendous President, Donald J. Trump.

Barbarosssa was also the name of a German Emperor

who can tell about him?

FDR was elected in 1932 and under his leadership or lack of it the bank recession turned into the "Great Depression" that lasted for his first two terms. The Brits were shocked that the FDR administration had no idea of the military buildup in Germany or Japan for that matter. The FDR foreign policy was non existent and the sick old dude apparently had no vision for the world if and when WW2 ended. Enemies became friends and friends became enemies and the legacy of FDR's failed foreign policy was the Iron Curtain.

To say nothing of FDR’s many provocations against Germany, in the hopes of repeating Wilson’s treason with the sinking of the Lusitania to get us in WWI.

To say nothing of FDR’s foreknowledge of Japan’s attack on Pearl and refusing to notify commanders, but he did manage to remove the carriers and his favorite ship the heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis, which left port with half it’s crew in the nick of time.

Does anyone see the patterns of war used by presidents over the decades? It seems to me few Americans do. They fall for war propaganda every fucking time.

The Great Liberal Alliance between Mr. Hitler and Mr. Stalin blew up over night as the two BFF's forever- both with their own versions of socialized medicine- clashed in the field of battle.

Another demonstration that you really can't count on a lib's loyalty. The fact that Hitler is the one blamed for breaking the truce isn't that important. Stalin undoubtably had plans to do the same.
Stalin did.
His military was massed the border in positions intended to kick off an invsion, not defend against one in depth. Partly why Germany could do such damage at the start.

I’m surprised you know that.

frau eva P C is a piece of crap, and we all know it.

Churchill and FDR worked with Stalin to the betterment for their own countries, as did Stalin for his.

If Hitler had won, the eventual nationalist uprisings in Europe would have tore the continent apart.

Actually, it was conservatives and their allies the Nazi Bund that supported the Nazis up until Pearl Harbor brought us to war with them
It was Japan which the USA declared war against, right after Pearl Harbor attack.
It was three days after the attack that Germany and Italy declared war on the USA.
You might want to review your history lessons, if you ever had any.
It was pseudo-liberals and their allies that supported the communists and Stalinists who helped invade and partition Poland, occupy the Baltic states (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania) and attacked Finland.
Until June 22, 1941; it appeared that the two largest dictatorships with the two largest militaries were seeking to conquer and divide the world between themselves.
Until December 1941 it looked like Germany would beat Russia, and only Russia would be battered to a frazzle. USA Lend-Lease to the USSR helped balance the situation and eventually assist the Soviets to get the edge.

A cagey-er strategy would have been to limit the Lend-Lease to USSR and gauge just enough to keep them in the fight, but not give them an edge. Then both might have battered each other to a "frazzle".

Liberals supported the Communists
Conservatives such as Lindbergh and Henry Ford supported the Nazis

Some did.
But not all did.
Problem you and many other Marxist have is you over generalize, and smear with broad brush distortion and misinformation.
Objective, middle-of-the-roaders, saw both as fascists dictatorships and evil enemies of Liberty.

Not all Liberals supported Communists either

You are the one generalizing

Liberalism is not compatible with communism, your inability to distinguish the difference only shows a great ability on you part of ignorance.
"Liberalism" is a term abused and misused by socialists and communists, along with Leftists in general.
In current USA terms, literal 'liberalism' is the province of the Libertarians.
Your political stance test;

President Roosevelt certainly did. The way he kissed Stalin's bolshevik behind is documented at Yalta.

Instead of demanding Stalin close the Gulags and have free elections, FDR just kept quiet about human rights. Quite a contrast with President Reagan who on this date in history in another year, demanded that Bloody Gorby "tear down this wall"

Liberalism is synonymous with Progressive
Libertarian is synonymous with being a selfish asshole
