Republicans Seem To Lose On Every Issue Placed Under Scrutiny, Yet They Still Get Elected. Why?

Democrats simply create issues they know Republicans opposed and try to make them sound urgently important. It doesn't matter that we don't consider them important. They make them important.

Income inequality
Same-sex marriage
Global Warming

These are the issues that Democrats tell us are important. What is the number one issue? Job creation. Next is national security. The only time Democrats talk about either is when they're in trouble.

Clearly they have not lost on every issue that matters most to the American people or they would not be getting elected. Perhaps the reason Republicans keep getting elected is because of the failures of Democrat policies and leadership.
And yet you can't give any examples of republicans helping anyone besides the wealthy class.

Like I said, they get elected because Americans are dumb. They would rather buy into the abysmal Fox News propaganda and listen to flowery speeches about freedom and warm apple pie that mean nothing.
Is that why Obama got elected?
oops.

Hmmm...

"They've lost on the issue of wealth inequality." I don't even know what this means. Losers are unhappy that they are losers? This is pure nonsense.
"They've lost on the issue of human caused climate change." Again, what does this mean? The majority of the American public see what our "Progressives" are up to - attempting a takeover of the American Industrial sector by government weenies - and have soundly rejected it, despite Kyoto and other pathetic attempts by Democrats to force down our throats.
"They've lost on the issue of voter fraud." Again, what does "lost" mean. The American public is abundantly aware of how preposterous the Democrat position is on Voter ID, despite the media's orgasm of attempts to cast it as "racist." You can't get a prescription filled in this country without showing ID, but asking voters to prove who they are before voting is "outrageous." Democrats are insidious idiots, and the public knows it.
"They've lost on the issue of the effectiveness of tax cuts for the wealthy and trickle down economics as a whole." Again, Democrat losers (sorry for the redundancy) perpetually want a big generous Government, and they perpetually want SOMEONE ELSE to pay for it - namely, "The Rich." Who is winning and losing here? If "income inequality" is increasing as the Dems constantly complain, who is losing this issue? Try a little logic if it's not too strenuous.
"They've lost on the issue of gay marriage." I agree.
"Last but not least, congressional republicans have the worst approval ratings behind not only Obama, but congressional democrats as well." Made-up, delusional nonsense. R's will control BOTH houses come January, and not a moment too soon.
"... Average joe Americans are idiots." There it is. The classic Democrat conceit. Average people are too stupid to understand what's good for them, so WE (Democrats) will take care of them.

How's that War on Poverty thing working out for ya? Did "Affirmative Action" help or hurt the African American community as a whole? How did Ted Kennedy's "immigration reform" work out?

You are a fucking idiot.
1) Republicans have always tried to avoid the wealth inequality issue despite the fact it has real relevance.
2) Man made climate change is hardly just a progressive issue. It is a scientific issue that has a global consensus.
3) Voter fraud is very rare and always has been.
4) See the approval ratings yourself.

Out of those 3? Climate change. A close second is income inequality which has severe economic implications.

I did not know we signed the Kyoto protocol or started wealth redistribution. Now, if we only had jobs Republicans would sweep.

They've lost on the issue of wealth inequality.

They've lost on the issue of human caused climate change

They've lost on the issue of voter fraud.

They've lost on the issue of the effectiveness of tax cuts for the wealthy and trickle down economics as a whole.

They've lost on the issue of gay marriage

Last but not least, congressional republicans have the worst approval ratings behind not only Obama, but congressional democrats as well.

The thought of them taking the senate is not only awful, it is downright bewildering. You want the truth? Average joe Americans are idiots.

As the old adage goes, "There's a sucker born every minute"

Republicans give this message to people that the Democrats are the cause of all their problems and if you let business owners do anything they want, you'll have a better life.

For example, take the working class and Union busting.

The republicans can connect with the working class because they simplify the issues to black and white. Democrats often times see a lot of grey in issues.

For example: Democrats contend that we need to cut down on carbon emissions but Democrats also believe there should be strong working class unions. When we cut back on carbon emissions, do we end up bankrupting the unions where many of the workers have their pensions? How can they have a decent retirement without their pensions?

Democrats see this as an issue to resolve, Republicans just say "Democrats are trying to kill your job!" Then repeat that over and over again. Democrats aren't trying to kill their jobs, but trying to find the best solution. But because of the simplistic framing of the message that Republicans do, they get people who don't want to divulge into the nuances of issues and only care about one thing, their job.

So then they vote Republican. Then they say "The union is trying to kill your job!" The workers see that the union has been good to them but the employer wants them out. So they start giving the employees more perks and benefits and then start to imply that we (the company) will take good care of you, you don't need the unions. Then republicans reinforce that message saying "Well there are laws on the book that protect you, you don't need the unions." So the workers starts to say they want the union out and then they get the union out by signing an agreement that they will not unionize ever again.

Then you start to see the employer starts to slowly roll back all those perks they gave you and then over time, you end up with less benefits and no raises. Then the employees figure out they are worse off than before but now they signed an agreement to not unionize and even if they threatened a lawsuit, the company will scare them and tell them they will fire everyone if they all don't comply with what they want. Some won't care but most will say "Something is better than nothing" and keep taking the hits hoping for a better tomorrow that will never come.

And the republicans' response: "It's all the democrats fault that your company is treating you unfairly." Or will use religion to justify their behavior.

And that's one of the biggest issue. Democrats have struggled to keep the working class vote. While it's great to fight for issues like marriage equality and abortion rights, people in the working class can be so devout to their beliefs that they will forgo their own well-being for some Utopian paradise when they die. So while the Democrats are on their side for their worker rights, they will side with the Republicans because of their belief in a higher being. You see in all the time on this board how the "Demoncrats" or "Evil Liberals" or "Immoral" is associated with Democrats and liberals. If the people you trust say these people are evil, then you are going to trust their judgment. Then if you don't get to know them, well "Ignorance is bliss." That's the issue at hand here however the message from the Republicans is waning with polls showing that Democrats are winning key toss-up races.

The climate will always change and incomes will always differ. GW is out and out fraud intended to deliver our sovereignty to the UN, and income-inequality is a fraud being used to piss off the poor.

Or listen to someone who flashes a big smile and gives flowery speeches about hope and change and promises the government will fix all the problems in their life.

If you look at the issues that most concern Americans and their thoughts on them, the majority of Americans align with what Democrats want to do...Something like 70% of Americans disapprove of Republicans in Congress and, yet as you mentioned, they will get re-elected. The "Why" is in the Gerrymandering...

You can't gerrymander a Senate race

Voter fraud is massive and only becomes an issue if you lose.
Approval ratings are an indication of several things and apathy is number one. Another is how effective the media is in muddying the waters. No Republican will win a popularity contest if the Drivebys can help it.

That's a total lie.

They've lost on the issue of wealth inequality.
LOL, I don't think either party has this issue solved. For you to claim left has this solved, who you crappin?

They've lost on the issue of human caused climate change
LOL, record winters, the ice caps are growing, I like this is an issue the left lost.

They've lost on the issue of voter fraud.
Seriously this is the most insulting issue out there. The left scream for this one, yet even Kazakhstan has voter ID. The left is truly clueless on this one.

They've lost on the issue of the effectiveness of tax cuts for the wealthy and trickle down economics as a whole.
Texas has created more jobs than any state in the Union the last decade. They have business friendly regulations and no corporate or income tax. It is not a myth that states with lower taxes and business friendly regulations are where businesses are going to!

They've lost on the issue of gay marriage
You might have this one, but there are many Republicans like me that support gay marriage. However, MOST Republicans see it as a minor issue. Hence why moderates on the issue - Romney and McCain- won the last Presidential runs.

Last but not least, congressional republicans have the worst approval ratings behind not only Obama, but congressional democrats as well.
No explanation needed!

The thought of them taking the senate is not only awful, it is downright bewildering. You want the truth? Average joe Americans are idiots.
Get ready for it. Both Houses of Congress will be red!

(1) Right wing political parties always benefit from an environment of fear, and the media loves promoting fear to get better ratings.
(2) The SCOTUS has become a right wing activist court, and has effectively eliminated democratic representative government.
(3) Districts are heavily gerrymenderd now in favor of right wing politicians, with no resolution in sight.
(4) Corporations control the few large media empires.
(5) "News" has become "infotainment."
(6) Creeping fascism since the 40's has favored right wing, pro-military, authoritarian police-state rule; hence, the Republicans.

Since when is 0.004% massive? It's not. Voter Fraud is a solution searching for a problem.

Speaking of fear tactics: If the GOP takes back the Senate civilization as we know it will end. Blacks will be back in chains, women will lose their birth control, children will die, the rich will horde all of the wealth and leave the country.

All of the above has been said by Democrats. They don't talk about Medicare and Social Security because the Dems plan on cutting that themselves.
