Right Wing Redneck Congressman Tells Constituent "You, sir, shut up"

The best part of his comments...that the situation with women in the military having their naked pictures being shared without consent should be a state issue... the fucking MARINES ARE A FEDERAL MILITARY GROUP. How the fuck should the bill be a state issue???

The guy is a fucking moron that shouldn't be in office.

He should not be allowed to speak to people this way. His job is to listen to people and he has set aside his right to talk this way when he ran for office. He is a wimp, coward, and obviously ignorant of the issues. Who elects people like this?

Conservatives. They love electing people who they know will abuse them. That's why they elected Trump.

If you like your plan you can keep your plan, period.

We have to pass the bill to see what is in it.

Clinging to their guns and Religion.....
I liked my plan and my doctor and I kept both. Couldn't you?

Texas......says it all.

I don't like Barton

But I think he was right. You have a right to voice your opinion at a town hall. You don't have a right to scream, yell and shout down other speakers

Being at a town hall is a right for people of all parties. But you should be expected to act civilly, wait your turn and speak respectfully

If you can't you should be escorted out

Act respectfully? You mean like when that pig yelled "you lie" in the middle of a presidential speech? Barton is a typical right winger. He wouldn't know appropriate behavior if it bit him.

Like I said, I have little respect for Joe (BP) Barton

But I do respect Town Halls as an exercise where the public can express their views to their representative.
For Town Halls to work, certain rules of civility need to be maintained. Today, these meetings are taken over by who can shout the loudest and who can be the most rude
If the guy was out of line (and he was), he deserves to be told to shut up

That's the way it was until 8 years ago. The Koch funded tea people changed the rules.

Nonsense. He wasn't being rude at all. It's a townhall meeting. It's supposed to be a back and forth.

Fairly amusing given how much leftwingers try and shut down free speech especially on college campuses the Middlebury incident being the most recent.

This is why you NEVER vote Republican, folks.
Your point, as it appears, that only GOP have ignorant asshole politicians is hypocritically yet not unexpectedly hilarious.

This, folks, is a true-blue example of a partisan desperately trying to make the other side look 'evil' while inferring that their sides is much better. Let's not forget that the Democrats' own personal hacked and exposed e-mails showed the DNC is rife with racists, sexists, homophobes, and anti-Semites.

In this case, as in all such cases, instead of trying to generalize and blame the whole party, what should be done is to single out the individual and say, 'YOU, sir/ma'am, are an ignorant asshole!'
