FYI: The judge presiding over this case, Amy Berman Jackson, is the same judge who had Manafort and Gates and van der Zwaan.

The top brass at Main Justice were "shocked" "that prosecutors handling the case had recommended Monday night that Judge Amy Berman Jackson sentence 67-year-old Stone to between 87 and 108 months in prison. The corrupt prosecutors asserted in the Monday filing that a sentence much longer than the 15 to 21 months that the defense said was actually advisable under the federal sentencing guidelines.

The sentencing guidelines for manslaughter are 10-16 months.

The real problem here isn't whether Mr. Stone committed crimes, but whether its really proper to send a nonviolent offender to prison for 9 years as a first time offender. If Mr. Stone had stuck up a 90 year old broad and took her social security check, he wouldn't have received that much time.
