The Hussein isn't fooling anyone. He's allies are the Sunni extremists, officially the Saudis and the Turks, who are both funding and supporting their Sunni brothers in ISIS. Russia has every right to bomb the fuck out of any Muslims, including the Turks that have been caught supporting ISIS. Which is one big reason that Turkey should get booted out of NATO. No way should we have to go to war to protect these terror supporting Turks.
