Russia may not be Obama's enemy. After all Marxists do tend to get along, but that doesn't mean Russia is America's friend.

Why would Russia ever be America's friend? The US trained Georgia's fighters who just happened to be Chechens. You know. Those guys that terrorized Russia forever and committed well one of the worst terror attacks on the school children and families of Beslan.

Turns out the US trained the Chechen military kingpin of ISIS. Star pupil. Omar was a champ. Well done America.

I don't have any illusions that they would be our friend. There are too many people who think we need. To be all buddy buddy with them.

The fact is they want Assad in power, we apparently want rebels that aren't Isis in power. Obama may get involved with Russia to fight Isis but we have different goals for Syria and once the violence is going alliances can shift.
