There is nothing like Russian vodka mixed with Clamato.

The Russian Standard Vodka portfolio currently holds 30% of the vodka market in Russia, with global sales of over 3.4 million 9l cases in 2017

It’s now turning its attention to India, one of the world’s fastest growing economies and the second largest liquor market. The Indian branded spirits market has grown at a rate of over 20% in 10 years, and is now worth around US$4.5 billion, and is expected to increase by 10% in the coming years.

“Due to the recent trend toward the consumption of imported brands and a big potential of the alcohol market – 300 million 9l cases per year – we are confident that Russian Standard will become one of the favourite brands in this fast evolving country,” said Jonathan Ashworth, managing director EMEA at Roust International.

Roust is the largest integrated spirits producer and distributor in Central and Eastern Europe and the second-largest vodka producer by volume in the world, with over 30 million 9l cases sold annually in more than 80 markets.

Roust owns production facilities and distribution centres across Poland, Hungary, Russia and Italy, and its portfolio includes flagship vodka brands Russian Standard, Green Mark, Talka, Parliament and Zhuravli, as well as the Polish vodka Żubrówka.

I make cranberry vodka: smash fresh cranberries, add a little sugar, add vodka, leave this mixture for a week in a dark place and then wring it out and pass it through a colander and gauze to clean the beverage from remains of cranberries.

Cranberries take away vodka's nasty taste, it almost feels like juice when you drink it but still remains strong.

I suppose any sour cherries would be good. I just prefer cranberries.
