Syria says any U.S. military action would 'inflame Middle East

(Reuters) - Syria warned the United States against any military action over a suspected chemical weapons attack in its civil war, saying it would "create a ball of fire that will inflame the Middle East"

Syria said any military action would be "no picnic".

"U.S. military intervention will create a very serious fallout and a ball of fire that will inflame the Middle East," Syrian Information Minister Omran Zoabi was quoted by state news agency SANA as saying to Lebanon-based al-Mayadeen TV.

"America knows the limitation of the red line of the Syrian front and any crossing of Syria's red line will have severe consequences for the White House," Massoud Jazayeri, deputy chief of staff of Iran's armed forces, said on Sunday according to Fars.

That's certainly the ticket, the barbarians in Syria are killing innocents so the rational response is of course "lets go kill more innocents by dropping bombs in the hopes that MAYBE we'll kill some of the barbarians too".

The bloodthirsty warmongers in Washington have gone completely insane and the really sad part is that many Americans will buy into this barbarism carried out in their names.

Yes it is but not surprising at all since those that use politics as an excuse for mass murder not only utilize the same modes of operation but also the same language of irrationality.

I'm not hearing any complaints from Israel. Apparently they've approved of the tactics.

The first ones to suffer if you guys attack in Syria, are the Israeli civilians, because Assad will attack Israel in response.

We don't say anything because that is the policy, to not say anything. being quiet right now, is the right thing to do.

Obama babbled nonstop and he just stuck his foot in his mouth and now has to do something or else he will be seen as a weak leader.

Israel simply observes, and is prepared to protect the civilians.

That is the wisest thing to do.

he said nothing about what USA should or shouldn't do.

He's concern about the Cehmicals because its influences Israel in all ways possible

Israel to ask Obama to use air strikes in case of Syrian missile transfer | World news | theguardian.com

I am not worried too much because I believe it is all rhetoric. Since everybody's response has bee so week for the past two years is partly the reason why Assad feels that he is untouchable, (or is that out of touch?).

If had given economic sanctions 2 years ago, then perhaps we would not be in a situation of watching a leader kill his own people. Nintendo sniper shot would only bring more instability with perhaps the lung-eating rebel in charge.

Everybody is doing a hands off policy at this time and words will be continued to be used in political posturing.

Foreign American media tends to say crap.

WTF are you talking about?

Israel has already attacked Syria twice to exacerbate the problems there!

So by defending their people after being attacked those mean old Israeli's are exacerbating the problem? Maybe Lebanon should stop lobbing rockets into Israel. How about that?

How did Israel get involved? Syria is using Chemical Weapons against it's own people and it's Israel's fault? Typical Pro Palestinian mentality :cuckoo:

Easy boy----no one accused Israel doing of anything but asking for help. Israel is ALWAYS involved in Mideast politics because they are our ally there.

Let's see what happens. Appears they are provoking Obama. I don't want to see us get involved in this whatsoever. But it may be overcome by events already.
