It was entirely appropriate to block Barry's nominee of the 11th hour. He did enough damage to the federal courts to last a lifetime; one more lifetime appointment would have been overkill. And no harm was done by an 8-member court for several months. Serious cases should never be decided on a 5-4 basis anyway.

Schumer is simply taking up the mantle of that despicable hack, Harry Reid.
