NotfooledbyW Aug’24 Vsocas: Is it not the purpose of every “Christian” Church or gathering of two or more “born again” Christians to worship God to claim through the power of herd mentality that they speak for God because they believe in the one and only book that was inspired by the only true God in all of creation.

They are free to believe whatever they want about the actual mystery that is the source of nature’s creation as long as they respect the rights of everyone outside their herd when dealing with the affairs of state.

Faith is not based on 'seeing is believing' because the latter is often not the case either.

I agree with you but others, ding for example, insist their beliefs are based on logic or evidence or anything but faith. I think they delude themselves but that is their prerogative.

faith is for accomplishing an objective - columbus sets sail for land they have faith is across the horizon - faith must have fruition and is not viable of its own accord.
