Seriously, why do R-Wers on here keep stating that "there's noting there"?

BAGHDAD, Iraq — A roadside bomb thought to contain deadly sarin nerve agent exploded near a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military said Monday. It was believed to be the first confirmed discovery of any of the banned weapons that the United States cited in making its case for the Iraq war.

Two members of a military bomb squad were treated for “minor exposure,” but no serious injuries were reported.

The chemicals were inside an artillery shell dating to the Saddam Hussein era

Minor exposure to Sarin? If the shell wasn't expired, it would be capable of killing 100,000 people within 1/4 miles.

Sarin, Mustard Gas Discovered Separately in Iraq

One official told Fox News that a conventional 155-mm shell could hold as much as "two to five" liters of sarin, which is capable of killing thousands of people under the right conditions in highly populated areas.

Vs, minor exposure to sarin.

I remember that event. A shell containing about half a gallon of a nerve agent so toxic that one drop causes death within minutes. Burst all over several soldiers, and after ah injection of epinephrine, they all lived.

The sarin was expired. So much for your WMD claim, using expired weapons lost in the desert as proof Saddam had active weapons programs

As I said, NADA, ZILCH, NOTHINGBURER. No WMD's

You poor little children have such short little memories. Ahhhhh, youth. Care to guess where the chemical weapons originated from? No? Yeah, that would mean you had to admit you were either wrong, or lying. Typical progressives.

In all honesty, I can't understand why right wingers on here keep stating that the ongoing investigations have (already) proven that there is "nothing to implicate the Trumpster....

There are currently at least 4 congressional investigations with full subpoena powers.

A special counsel has just recently begun to investigate a variety of charges regarding the Trump administration's possible collusion with Russian operatives, obstruction of justice, and abuses of administrative powers.

Comey (like him or not) has just asserted that there is classified information on Session's, Flynn's and others' lying to law enforcement officials and the vetting processes. rather than (under oath) stating that the Steele's dossier was"fake" and that Session (and several others) were in the clear, Comey chose to respond to congressional questions in close-door sessions.

With ALL that is happening, right wingers on here are STILL stating that the entire investigative processes either don't really exist or are worthless......Interesting.....

Answer- the same reason the lefties kept, insisting there was nothing to the bulldykes private server. It is pure and simple partisanship. Glad I could help.

Hey stupid? Sarin Gas is a WMD. :lmao:

The Sarin they found was old, expired, and couldn't hurt a fly. A couple of Irai insurgents found it out in the desert, where it had been blown to after ammo dumps were blown up n the first Gulf War.

Tell me, and post a citation for their origin while you're at it. Tic Toc, the clock is running.

Ummmm, no. Sarin has an exceptionally long shelf life. However, the nature of their exposure was the best possible, the wind was blowing fairly well, and it was a single shell. Sarin evaporates very quickly, so the wind fortunately blew the plume downrange very quickly so the exposure time was exceptionally short. Had it been a calm day they would all have died.

Uh...no. That Sarin Gas would have killed them had they not taken an antidote for it. There were tens of thousands of WMD's uncovered in Iraq. It's odd how you feel like you can convince everyone of an alternate reality.

Jordan foiled an al-Qaeda chemical bomb plot against the intelligence services HQ to use trucks packed with 20 tonnes of explosives that could have killed as many as 80,000 people, security officials said today.

The television showed jerry cans said to contain chemicals, which officials did not name, and trucks "that the terrorists planned to load with 20 tonnes of chemical explosives in a suicide attack against the General Intelligence Department".

You think they had sarin in jerry cans?

Do you know what a jerry can is?

Are you a fracking nut job. Sarin is so deadly you can brush up against a leaf hours after the attack and it will kill you. They had a half gallon of the stuff explode, and they suffered "minor exposure"

Damn you know nothing about nerve agents. It was obviously greatly deteriorated from sitting out in the desert for decades.

The chemical weapons were from Iraq. Duh. The terrorists obtained it from Iraq via syria. The king of Jordan gave an extensive interview to the San Francisco Chronicle in 2004 and told all about it.

There is no antidote to exposure levels above the miligram level. They were exposed to several kilograms. It's obvious the stuff was long since expired. Meaning it was from the first gulf war. And most likely something somebody found out in the desert with all the other remnants of blown up ammo dumps from the first gulf war.

When it is atomized it requires a bit more than that. Add to that the fact that the troops had their antidotes handy.

  • Recovery from sarin exposure is possible with treatment, but to be effective, the antidotes available must be used quickly. Therefore, the best thing to do is avoid exposure:
    • Leave the area where the sarin was released and get to fresh air. Quickly moving to an area where fresh air is available is highly effective in reducing the possibility of death from exposure to sarin vapor.
      • If the sarin release was outdoors, move away from the area where the sarin was released. Go to the highest ground possible, because sarin is heavier than air and will sink to low-lying areas.
      • If the sarin release was indoors, get out of the building.
  • If people think they may have been exposed, they should remove their clothing, rapidly wash their entire body with soap and water, and get medical care as quickly as possible.
  • Removing and disposing of clothing:
    • Quickly take off clothing that has liquid sarin on it. Any clothing that has to be pulled over the head should be cut off the body instead of pulled over the head. If possible, seal the clothing in a plastic bag. Then seal the first plastic bag in a second plastic bag. Removing and sealing the clothing in this way will help protect people from any chemicals that might be on their clothes.
    • If clothes were placed in plastic bags, inform either the local or state health department or emergency personnel upon their arrival. Do not handle the plastic bags.
    • If helping other people remove their clothing, try to avoid touching any contaminated areas, and remove the clothing as quickly as possible.
  • Washing the body:
    • As quickly as possible, wash any liquid sarin from the skin with large amounts of soap and water. Washing with soap and water will help protect people from any chemicals on their bodies.
    • Rinse the eyes with plain water for 10 to 15 minutes if they are burning or if vision is blurred.
  • If sarin has been swallowed, do not induce vomiting or give fluids to drink.
  • Seek medical attention immediately. Consider dialing 911 and explaining what has happened.

Sheesh you're a 'tard. They were exposed to micromilileters. You don't even know the measurements used.

The chemical weapons were from Iraq. Duh. .

People stumble over german explosives from WWII all over europe. You're trying to claim they're from an active German weapons program.

That sarin shell predated the first gulf war. So it wasn't from any active WMD program, but was merely a lost relic. Geezzzzz take a chemistry class.

FACT SHEET ON EXPOSURE LIMITS FOR SARIN

For example, if a group of people breathed a concentration of 100 milligrams of sarin per cubic meter of air for one minute, this would be a lethal dose for 50% of the group. Alternatively, if the concentration was 50 milligrams of sarin per cubic meter of air, and the group breathed it for 2 minutes, that would also be lethal for 50% of the group.

Death usually results within 15 minutes after absorption of a fatal dose. (1)

They were exposed to half a gallon.
