Shootings At Walmart Stores Are On The Rise For The Third Year In A Row

But I've noticed something alarming: the rate of shootings is steadily increasing. It's so frequent, now, that I hardly have time to chronicle all of them, and fell behind for a while. Sometimes there are as many as two or three incidents per day. What does the data say? The graph below sums it up pretty well.

In all of 2012, I found 53 shooting incidents on Walmart properties. In 2013, there were that many incidents by the beginning of October. This year, they have already matched that number by July. If a linear regression is predictive, they are set to beat last year's high of 83 by a comfortable margin, perhaps around 100 incidents.

Important consumer safety information.
There were 53....Two or three per day..
So the calendar year was shortened to 26.5 days when?

To bad those on the left don't give a damn about their constituents in Chicago. It's only because Walmart is considered a right wing company does this get any play.

Chicago has how many shootings a weekend and hypocrites like hazynut, turn a blind eye.

Do we need more guns in Chicago? That's the gun rights extremists' solution.

YES...Arm the law abiding citizens and the criminal scum will then realize their potential victim has the means to fight back.

There's a new Walmart on the other side of my town.

Parking lot was virtually empty.

Cut the bullshit....Ok smart ass. go take a photo of the parking lot when the store is OPEN....
Prove you are telling the truth...
Otherwise, you know what you can do with this post wrapped around a big bumpy cucumber.

Nice graph, but it predictably omits the geographic locations of these stores.

I'll give you little thieves or regular Wal-Mart haters a hint if you live near store# 5305 in Chula Vista CA

On the back side of this store is broken window covered with cardboard that cheap ass store will not replace.

Drop down through it, and you're in the server room. You can defeat all security and take the store down so badly that it won't recover for weeks. By removing 2 hard drives from the disaster recovery appliance, and the video surveillance servers they're blind. Next ,sabotage, or steal the IBM blade center=dead store. Get out quick, because they will notice. You'll want to do this on a weekend because there will be no staffing near that room. As a matter of fact, I don't think it's even a 24 hour store so you can skip all the BS and come at night.

Of course, this is just for educational purposes, and I don't condone such activities. The window is visible by the park behind the store and is in public view.

This is another example of how Wal-Mart saves you money and helps you live better while leaving it's entire corporate network open to hackers or store level sabotage. It's a joke.

1. Chicago has a law that PROHIBITS firearms retailers within the city limits. NOBODY can legally purchase a firearm within the city limits of Chicago. That law has certainly worked out really well for Chicagoans, eh?

2. Notice that these Walmart "statistics" and the whole opinion piece is from some guy in "Blogspot".

3. When you purchase a firearm at a Walmart, and after you have passed the required background check, you and your new firearm are immediately escorted out of the store by an associate.

Is there any way we can increase the number of Walmart shoppers shooting each other? :dunno:
